West Fraser Europe

With the Future Homes Standard (FHS) on the horizon, our sector is steadily moving towards an era of smarter, more sustainable housebuilding. Soon, every new home will be expected to meet far stricter requirements around energy efficiency and this is a direction we’ve been preparing for. Working with leading national and regional housebuilders, we’ve seen how the journey towards low-carbon, zero-carbon ready homes is shaping decisions on materials and performance. I’m proud that West Fraser Europe continues to stay ahead of the curve, not just responding to the FHS, but actively supporting it. Our net carbon negative, UK-made panels - including SterlingOSB Zero, CaberFloor and CaberMDF already support the industry’s move towards net zero. By locking in more carbon than they emit, these products help developers lower the environmental impact of each build while enhancing performance for the long term. The Future Homes Standard is an important milestone for our industry and we’re ready to help housebuilders meet it with confidence. Read more ⬇️ 🔗 https://lnkd.in/ex-SdjXa
