One thing I keep seeing in privacy operations: Teams often normalise friction for far too long. They assume it is just part of running privacy at scale. But sometimes, the problem is not the process. It is the platform. A quick privacy platform check every organisation should be doing: ❌ Are we paying for features nobody actually uses? ❌ Does the platform actually fit the way our organisation works? ❌ Did implementation require months of additional training and/or outsourced consultants? ❌ Is customer support slow when urgent privacy issues arise? The difficult part is that these issues usually become obvious late. By then, teams have already invested time, budget, and internal energy trying to make the platform work. So they keep creating workarounds. They adapt the business to the tool, instead of expecting the tool to support the business. A Privacy Management platform should reduce operational complexity, not add another layer of it. And yes, migration can feel painful. That is exactly why TrustWorks offers assisted migration, no onboarding fees, and ongoing support from a team that does the heavy lifting with you. I’m sure there are more signs teams are seeing in practice. What would you add to this privacy platform check based on your experience? If this sounds familiar, it may be time to rethink your setup: https://lnkd.in/enFHcvnB

More and more privacy teams are moving away from legacy privacy tools. And no, it is not always about price. For many teams, the real question is whether the platform actually works in practice. Service quality. Delivery. Responsiveness. A team that understands your context. A product your stakeholders can use without creating more operational drag. That is the difference we want teams renewing OneTrust to experience for themselves. With our OneTrust migration path, you can run TrustWorks in parallel configured around your existing compliance processes. You get assisted migration, hands-on onboarding, and no double licence costs during the overlap period. So the decision is not based on a promise. It is based on real evidence of what works. Let's map out your parallel run aligned to your renewal date. Request your migration path here: https://lnkd.in/e48hK2CF

Yesterday, we got a demo request from someone who had just received a 300% OneTrust renewal increase and decided it was finally time to look at alternatives. That kind of pricing shock is often the moment teams start looking around. But what really matters is what happens once they do. After seeing a TrustWorks demo, almost without exception, teams realise something deeper: there is a better, easier way to run privacy operations (and AI governance). Escaping legacy pricing models might open the door. But clarity is what pushes people through it. One comment from a demo this week really stayed with me: “It felt like you were watching me work. You understood the issues immediately and showed me how everything could be done better.” That reaction is incredibly rewarding. Because it shows this isn’t just about cost pressure or vendor fatigue. It’s realising that privacy operations don’t have to be heavy, un-contextualised, or dictated by the tool you happen to be using. There is a simpler, more intuitive way to work. When teams see their own reality reflected back at them — their workflows, their pain points, their context — the conversation changes. It stops being about features and pricing. It starts being about how work actually gets done. That’s also why we’ve formalised our 2026 OneTrust Exit Plan. Not as a “rip and replace” story, but as a structured, low-risk way to: 1/ See your future setup using real data, not demos or sandboxes 2/ Improve data quality during migration, not just move it 3/ Run TrustWorks alongside OneTrust, without paying twice Renewals are forcing decisions. Demos are validating instincts. And having a clear exit path makes those decisions far less daunting. If you’re curious why leading companies have already switched (spoiler: it’s not just because pricing went up): 👉 https://lnkd.in/d5AY6nQk Happy to map out your OneTrust Exit Plan. Just DM me.

Is your OneTrust renewal due in two months? There's still time to evaluate an alternative and migrate safely. What usually holds up the decision isn't the technology. It's having to coordinate privacy, legal, security, procurement and the business areas without a clear transition plan. At TrustWorks, we start with the reality of your operation: - What needs to be migrated - Which workflows should be kept or improved - Who the owners of each process are - What the timeline is up to renewal From there, we structure the migration of RoPA, assessments, DSRs, risks, third parties and governance workflows. Before making the decision, we can also import a sample of the chosen modules. That way, your team evaluates TrustWorks using its own data and processes, rather than relying solely on a generic demo. During the transition, we support validation, training and team adoption so the change happens without disrupting operations. And for eligible clients, TrustWorks billing only starts once the current contract ends. Migration stops being a leap in the dark and becomes a project with defined scope, owners and deadlines. If your renewal is coming up in the next two or three months, message me privately and I'll help you design a plan aligned with your contract and the reality of your operations. #Privacy #LGPD #PrivacyOps #PrivacyTech #OneTrustAlternative #TrustWorks

Is your OneTrust renewal due in 2026? Then you already know what’s coming: a price increase, delivered late, with little time to react. Most privacy teams only realise how little leverage they have when the renewal email lands (usually ~60 days out). By then, prices are up and switching feels risky — even if you’re unhappy. Over the past few years, ~70% of new TrustWorks customers migrated from OneTrust. The teams that moved best started early and validated the business case using their own data — not a demo. Here’s how our OneTrust migration offer works: 1/ Share your renewal date We map a plan backwards so there’s no rush. 2/ Use case validation (before you sign anything) We prove side-by-side outcomes using your real RoPA, assessments, DSRs, and vendor workflows. 3/ Agree the plan and commercial terms You sign ahead of renewal, with a two-month money-back guarantee (or choose a limited pilot / partial migration first). Billing starts when your OneTrust contract ends, so the overlap period does not create double licence cost. 4/ Parallel run to de-risk execution TrustWorks runs alongside OneTrust so migration and change management are gradual — no big-bang switch, no leap of faith. If you’re hearing “there’s no way we can move in time”, that’s exactly the assumption worth testing. Happy to map out a parallel run aligned to your renewal date. When we talk about AI in privacy operations, I keep coming back to the person expected to review its work. What are we actually putting in front of them? An AI-generated recommendation might look reasonable. But can the reviewer see which facts have been verified, where the information came from and what still needs checking? Do they have the time and authority to challenge it? These are practical questions that deserve attention as AI takes on more of the work around assessments, risk identification and proposed actions. There’s a real opportunity to reduce the effort involved in finding, comparing and organising information. That should give privacy professionals more room for the work that needs their judgement. Making that happen involves thinking carefully about the human side of the workflow. Who owns the decision? What do they need to see? When should they involve somebody else? Which actions can proceed automatically, and which should wait? Continuous governance depends on getting those choices right. More frequent signals are useful when someone is equipped to understand them and respond. We’ve included a section on this in The End of Periodic Governance, our new TrustWorks white paper. You can download it here: https://lnkd.in/eQTURdXg I’d be interested in how teams are designing that review step as they bring more AI into their operations.
