ɪꜱ ɪᴛ ɴᴏʀᴍᴀʟ ᴡʜᴇɴ ᴀ ʀᴇᴄʀᴜɪᴛᴇʀ ᴅᴏᴇꜱɴ'ᴛ ᴇᴠᴇɴ ᴛʀʏ? Joined the call. The guy looked like someone dragged him there against his will. Nothing about the company. Didn't even attempt it. Straight to: "Tell me about yourself." And that was it. I came prepared to answer questions. Instead I had to figure out what he might find interesting. That wasn't a self-presentation. That was a guessing game. He was mumbling something, I kept asking him to repeat himself. And the worst part: he was on his phone the entire call. Not a quick glance. Scrolling and typing while I was talking. Neither here nor there. No interest, no energy, no desire to actually fill the role. After the call just this empty, uncomfortable feeling. He promised feedback in 2-3 days. Nobody wrote anything. Not even a "no." Then I went to check the company reviews and there it was. The exact same story from another candidate about the same recruiter. Turns out it wasn't just me. Being a recruiter means actually doing the job, not just having the title. P.S. Every candidate deserves a recruiter who shows up. TipTop builds tools to help with exactly that. 𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙙𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙟𝙤𝙗 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨? Every time my friend, a colleague and my favorite yoga teacher told me to relax, let go of tension, and meditate, my #ADHD brain thought: “Sure… but what about all the emails I haven’t answered yet?” 😅 And today, during one of those rare moments of silence, it hit me - while I was trying not to fidget, my mind wandered straight to job postings and salaries. Interestingly, this is something we constantly see while working on TipTop. The balance between transparency and flexibility comes up in almost every conversation. Here’s what I see: 𝙊𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙡𝙪𝙨 𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚: • transparency makes communication with candidates easier • people can quickly decide if it’s worth applying • fewer “wasted” interviews on both sides • it builds trust in the company 𝙊𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙡𝙞𝙥 𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚: • companies want to keep flexibility in their budgets • it can highlight internal pay gaps • it’s harder to tailor offers to individual candidates • for some, salary is still sensitive information And of course, the nuance: in some countries, it’s already standard; in others, it’s still the exception. 𝙎𝙤 𝙄’𝙢 𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙪𝙨, 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙚 𝙢𝙮 𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙞𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙛 𝙢𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙛 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜: 𝙨𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙞𝙣 𝙟𝙤𝙗 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 - 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙩-𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚, 𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙚-𝙩𝙤-𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚, 𝙤𝙧 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙣𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙧𝙮? Drop your thoughts 👇 If you’re interested in learning more, I’d encourage you to explore ADHD UK. They do outstanding work supporting people with #ADHD across the UK, and I deeply appreciate their efforts. #TipTop #Hiring #IncodeGroup #AIplatform #interview #jobposting #job #recruitment #ADHD #neurodivercity #yoga

Why are candidates more afraid of interviews than of the job itself? Most people who are looking for a new job calmly imagine their working day: tasks, colleagues, routine... But as soon as you think about an interview, panic sets in: sleepless nights, imposter syndrome at its peak, and a feeling that you're about to be "revealed". Why is this? 📍Fear of the unknown: what exactly will they ask? How will they evaluate me? Will they like my answer? 📍Fear of rejection and humiliation - "no" feels like a personal failure. 📍Pressure of “one chance” - everything is decided in 45-60 minutes. 📍Comparison with others - it seems that everyone around you is more perfect. 📍It is difficult to “sell” yourself - you know how to do the job, but you don't know how to tell about it vividly. The interview often feels like an exam, not a conversation between two professionals, but an exam where you are being judged. True story: Anna is a Senior Marketing Manager with 7 years of experience. Before the last interview, she did not sleep for three nights, although the position was a dream. She was more afraid than when she got her first job. After joint preparation (analyzing typical questions, practicing the STAR method, working with anxiety), she went through 4 stages and received an offer with a +40% salary increase. Her words: “I realized that I wasn't afraid of the interview itself, but of not being able to show my true value.” If this topic is close to you, write in the comments what you are most afraid of at interviews. Maybe someone will share life hacks, someone will just be relieved to see that they are not alone... Let's share our experience - it's easier together ❤️ #Interview #JobSearch #Career #HR #JobSearch #TipTop #CareerDevelopment #JobInterview #InterviewTips #CareerGrowth #Hiring #Recruitment #TalentAcquisition #HR #HumanResources

Today I saw a “team meeting”... in the oceanarium 🐟 Two fish stood opposite each other and actively “discussed” something. Honestly, it looked like a real dispute. And I caught myself thinking: Do team discussions at work sometimes look like this? 🙂 Two smart “fish”. Two strong opinions. And each is sure that it is her rock in this aquarium. And then I thought about one thing I often see in recruiting. Companies are often looking for the “strongest candidate”. But does the team always really need the strongest candidate? Sometimes they need someone who 🐠 complements the team 🐠 balances characters 🐠 can build healthy communication After all, even a very talented “fish” can create chaos in an aquarium if it does not fit the environment. Good hiring is not only about skills. It's about team dynamics, communication, and the right “aquarium” for the person. It is for such tasks that we at TipTop have created an AI platform that helps to assess not only hard skills but also cultural fit. What do you think: what is more important for a team - the strongest specialist or the right fit? 🐟 #Hiring #Recruitment #CultureFit #TeamFit #HiringStrategy #HR #HumanResources #Leadership #OrganizationalCulture #RecruiterLife #WorkplaceCulture #HiringTrends
