“We’re busy enough without marketing.” I hear this quite regularly. I have even said it myself. It’s usually from businesses who are coasting on word of mouth/referrals. The thing is, word of mouth isn’t a strategy. It’s a nice bonus. It works until your main referrer retires. Or your biggest client moves on. Or the economy dips (again) and your pipeline dries up. Marketing isn’t something you switch on when it’s quiet. It’s what stops it from going quiet in the first place. Let's have a chat about how we can help, here: https://lnkd.in/ewNSd6Xb

I know a business that gets 80% of its revenue from one client. It feels safe – until that client leaves. Then you’re scrambling to replace most of your income overnight. Spread your risk. Work on bringing in smaller, steady clients alongside your big ones. It's obviously super important to focus on client retention, but it’s also easier to replace 2% than 80%. Want help bringing in a steady flow of those 2% clients? Give me a shout here: https://lnkd.in/ewNSd6Xb

Lets talk about landing pages shall we? Whether you've created one deliberately, or there's just a specific page on your existing website that you point most of your marketing at, do you know how well it is converting? Let's stick with lead generation to keep it simple. Let's say you get 100 visitors to your landing page over a month and you get 1 enquiry. That landing page has a 1% conversion rate. Most landing pages have a conversion rate between 2-5% so that would be 2-5 enquiries/leads per month. Are you even getting that many? Are your landing pages any good? Do they work on all devices? Are they slow? Are they easy to navigate? This is where you can really squeeze your marketing. Create a landing page that converts above 5% and you're getting more leads for the same marketing effort and spend. Have a look at my landing page, that is currently converting at about 10%... ...and then book a call while you're there. 😘 Click here 👉 https://loom.ly/WDtI6WE

Lets say... your competitor’s post has 100 likes. Yours has 9. You might feel a bit miffed about this. But what if yours brought in three new leads and theirs did nothing? The like button doesn’t pay your bills. The real metric is how many of the right people see your stuff AND THEN ACT ON IT. Not how many random people double tap for that sweet sweet dopamine hit. OK, more often than not the best performing posts from social media are often the ones with the most interactions AND the ones that generate enquiries, but the point is to not get hung up on metrics that don't earn you money. If you're getting plenty of likes but nothing more, you're probably not doing it right. I can help. Hit me up. Book a call with me, here: https://lnkd.in/ewNSd6Xb

How many leads do you get a month from Organic Search? Do you even know? What about from Paid Search? Is it more? You'd hope so, but that's not always a given! SEO and PPC often work better when done in tandem, with an overall keyword strategy powering both aspects. Certain words you'll be able to mop up organically, but for others, you'll need ad budget behind them, at least for the short term. We've been working with a logistics business for a few months now, who had a new website at the end of last year. Their old site never got any leads, maybe a handful per year. Since January, we've been running some Google Ads for them, with a modest budget of just a few hundred pounds per month and we are now generating them 8-10 (on average) high quality leads per month via PPC. We've also been working on their SEO and targeting keywords they will be able to rank well for, despite the fact their old site never ranked for anything other than the business name. In August, Organic Search generated an additional 5 leads to the 9 they had gained via PPC. That makes it 14 leads they got in total. A decent month for a high value ticket item like logistics services! So, if we take into account that they're paying us £720 + VAT per month to manage both SEO & PPC for them, then consider the value of the services their business offers... Just 1 converted lead from that 14 would pay for our services for the next few YEARS. We know they've converted more than 1 from last month alone. Plus a good few others from the previous few months. It's a no brainer. If your current agency (or just your current marketing) cannot make you considerably more money than it costs you, what's the point? Let's have a chat and see if we can help you too. Book a call with me here: https://loom.ly/WDtI6WE

Facebook and Instagram Lead Gen Ads don't work for most businesses. There, I said it. They generate volume, but generally... low quality. Tyre kickers, people after a freebie and people who didn't even realised they'd filled in your form. More often than not, you're better off spending that ad budget on a different platform. But the ones that they do work for, they can REALLY work if you're doing them right. We're working with a business that sells/rents out Photobooths (amongst other party equipment) for weddings and events. + Every month, they gain between 50 and 100 leads, depending on the time of year. + These leads land directly in their email inbox, seconds after the lead form was completed. + Consistently, over 90% of the leads are genuine, real leads from high intent potential customers. How much are they spending monthly you ask? Between £100-150 per month. That is a staggeringly low cost per lead of between £1 and £3 each. Like I said, they don't work for everybody, they don't work for most businesses, but when they do... boy oh boy, they REALLY do. Want me to tell you whether I think they'd work for you? Or see what might work better? Book a call with me here: https://lnkd.in/ewNSd6Xb
