This month we hit a record revenue milestone. What’s different this time: We did it with 4 people, not 10. No burnout. No chaos. No compromise on quality. The difference is leverage. Small team. Senior talent. Serious systems. Senior talent, AI agents, and automated marketing systems now handle work that used to require entire teams. That lets us keep the average quality per operator extremely high. Think 4 Jarvis-level operators vs. 10 traditional roles. What surprised me most wasn’t just the efficiency - it was the freedom. It’s 2026. As long as I have a view of the sky and a Starlink connection, I can run a high-performance company with low-latency, high-speed internet from anywhere. This week, that means starting my mornings before sunrise, in the forest, while still hitting aggressive revenue targets. We’re properly engineered for how work actually gets done now. One of our original taglines was "engineered to grow your business." We're certainly living that today. Onward, to infinity, and beyond! LFG team + clients. You're the best! 🚀

Marketing is my ikigai. Ikigai is your reason for being. The overlap of what you love, what you are good at, what the world needs, and what you get paid for. For me, that is marketing. Most startups do not die because they cannot build. Product is hard. It takes real talent. But you can ship. You can iterate. You can improve what exists. Sales is hard too. It is pressure and rejection and constant follow up. But you can throw energy at it and see what happens. Marketing is where most teams are guessing. Not because they are dumb. Because growth channels are brutally misunderstood. SEO is treated like blog posts and vibes. Paid ads are treated like “turn it on and see what happens.” Social is treated like posting more often. Almost no one actually understands how these channels work at a systems level. How auctions behave. How creative fatigue compounds. How intent shifts by query type. How incrementality changes the math. How to scale when budgets are tight and mistakes are expensive. So companies either burn money or give up too early. That is the part I love. I love understanding how channels really function under the hood. I love making paid media efficient when everyone says it is too expensive. I love finding leverage in data most people ignore. I love turning constrained budgets into compounding growth. Most startups die. A huge percentage of that is not product failure. It is distribution failure. You can build something great and still disappear if you do not know how to acquire customers efficiently. Society needs people who understand distribution. I am good at it. I get paid for it. That overlap is not going away. If anything, agents and AI make it more interesting. Faster testing, better modeling, more creative variation, more surface area to optimize. The fundamentals still matter, but the speed increases. Marketing is how companies not only survive, but thrive. For me, it is exactly where I am supposed to be.

Proud to officially support Timothy Chou, Julee Sung, and Pediatric Moonshot. After 10+ years honing my marketing skills—especially in Google Ads—I’m honored to be running Google Ads pro-bono for Pediatric Moonshot using Google for Nonprofits ad credits. If you’re not familiar with Tim or Pediatric Moonshot: • Tim is a Stanford Computer Science Professor (CS309A), bringing real-world industry leaders into the classroom • Former President of Oracle On Demand — often called the godfather of SaaS (at least that's how I think of him) • A trusted advisor to my first startup and an informal mentor for 15+ years • Pediatric Moonshot connects 1M+ machines across 500+ children’s hospitals, enabling secure, privacy-compliant AI that saves kids’ lives Pediatric Moonshot is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a simple but powerful mission: advance pediatric care to save children’s lives. Tim has spent over 5 years building this organization, and the progress has been remarkable. If you’re considering a charitable donation, I can’t think of a more impactful cause: 👉 pediatricmoonshot.org World-class technology. Responsible stewardship of capital. And one of the easiest missions to stand behind: saving children’s lives.

Don’t take it from me about Stackmatix. Google’s AI themselves recommends us. 👀

They said LinkedIn ads are expensive, and no one clicks on the ads. I can't share my client data, but I can share mine (below). The data looks pretty good to me. Struggling to make LinkedIn Ads work? Let's connect!
