Employee Advocacy at Scale: Why AI Is Driving It My first article for Sendible, exploring a trend I've been seeing more and more over the past year. The number of large companies looking to get their entire workforce active on social media is like nothing I've seen in my career. Financial services, real estate, healthcare, property management... completely different industries, but all looking to make employee advocacy a bigger part of their social strategy. Employee advocacy isn't new, but AI is giving companies another reason to take it seriously. LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook content is increasingly appearing in AI-generated answers. It's an interesting development when you consider the collective reach of hundreds or thousands of employees, each with their own audience. The challenge is making it work at scale. How do you centralise everything, keep content consistent, personalise it for each employee and avoid paying for every additional user? That's where we're seeing some really interesting uses of Sendible.I've explored the research and what this shift could mean for businesses in the article: https://lnkd.in/ebjg_ybi

Social posts rank on Google. Captions pull directly into AI answers. So why are we still rushing them out at 4:55 PM on a Friday like an afterthought? 😬 Let’s get real: that last-minute caption you threw together is either quietly pulling in high-intent organic search traffic or dying in the void. The problem? Marketers panic thinking they need to do manual keyword research for 15 different social posts a day (especially when you've got a toddler screaming for snacks and a baby on your hip). Spoiler: You don't. Because NOT every social media post needs to rank. 🙅♀️ - Personal & relatable posts? Do NOT optimize these. Keep them human, raw, and engagement-focused. Zero keywords needed. - Product & solution posts? 100% YES. If someone is searching Perplexity or Google for a problem your software solves, this caption needs to be doing heavy lifting. Here are my 3 rules for captions that actually rank: 1. Pick ONE focus keyword per post. Don't try to rank for five different terms in a 150-word caption. It smells like 2012 keyword stuffing and ruins readability. 2. Front-load it. Keep the hook punchy and human, but land that target keyword squarely within the first two lines. 3. Let AI do the heavy lifting inside your workflow. Stop context-switching between ChatGPT, Google Docs, and your scheduler. Which is why one moment in Joe Zeplin’s recent Sendible review stuck with me: he used the AI assistant in the composer to rephrase a caption around a specific keyword, without leaving the post he was writing. Not a demo click. He clearly uses it. (Candid thought: The tools that actually save your sanity aren't the flashy ones. They're the low-friction ones built directly into what you're already doing!) 🧠 Instead of rewriting captions from scratch, just tap the AI assistant inside the Sendible composer to instantly rephrase your hook around your chosen SEO keyword. You keep the human voice, AI handles the keyword weaving, and you move on with your day. 💅🏼 You can check out how Joe does it here (around 15-minute mark) 👉 https://bit.ly/4rSimon

Post to every brand and location at once, each with its own link. Joe Zeplin walks through exactly this in his in-depth Sendible review: 📍 One workspace holding the social calendar for every brand and location 📂 Profile lists to schedule across all your accounts in one go ✍️ Dynamic fields to add the right link and details to each post These are 3 of the 10 features he explored. The competitor we win against most is Sprout. That surprises people, because Sprout is arguably the category leader. It's a very good product. What I keep hearing from teams moving to Sendible is that they want something simpler to scale. Workspaces keep every client and brand separate. Approvals are easy, and clients can sign off without needing a paid seat. Reporting is clear and presentable. The interface is intuitive. And unlimited users means collaboration stays simple as the team grows. Then there's the question of whether you need every enterprise feature bundled into one platform. Social listening is a good example. Plenty of teams assume they need it, then find they only use it occasionally and can run a specialist tool alongside Sendible when they do. That's where the cost difference gets dramatic. One customer with 5 users and 15 clients went from around $2,000/month on Sprout to $299/month with us. Another with 10 users and 50 clients went from around $5,000/month to $750/month. It's rarely that Sprout isn't good. It's more: "Do we need all of this, or do we need something that fits how we actually operate?" We've put the a side-by-side comparison (pricing, users, client approvals) on our website https://lnkd.in/eh94w2tP

I've been at Sendible for over 7 years, and this is probably the product update I've been most excited about. Because I've had the same conversation with agencies and enterprise teams hundreds of times. "We'd love to involve more of the team." "Our freelancer needs access." "Marketing wants visibility." "Every extra user costs us." That never made much sense to me. We've now introduced Workspaces with unlimited users. For agencies and multi-location businesses, it removes one of the biggest barriers to scaling your team. We listened to what customers were asking for and got rid of what often felt like a collaboration tax. I spend my entire day talking directly to our users, so you can probably guess that out of 99 reasons to give Sendible a go, my favourite reason is #28. Nobody wants to deal with a chatbot when they have an urgent question or they're trying to fix an issue. For us, keeping things human is everything. Having knowledgeable, real people who actually know the tool inside and out step in immediately to help makes all the difference in the world and that’s easily the thing I’m most proud to be a part of here.
