One of the best decisions we made when launching our brand-new business, Ignition Benefits (YC F26), was investing in SEO and AEO from the start. In April, we had a brand-new domain and no existing organic traffic. So we took the help of Jules and his team at Scalerrs. 6 months later, we’re seeing 33% of our leads come through inbound from SEO. And also getting 1,500 monthly clicks from priority non-branded search terms. Here are 3 things I learned along the way. 1. SO IMPORTANT! -> Get the technical foundations right early! Your website needs to be structured so search engines and AI systems can crawl it, understand what you do, and connect your content to the right queries. It’s much easier to get this right from day one than to fix things later. 2. Build a consistent content engine. We published roughly 8 - 12 blogs a month and built a steady stream of useful content, backed by technical SEO and authority building, all working towards the same goals. 3. Don’t skip off-page SEO: build links from the start A new domain has no authority, and great content alone doesn’t fix that. We built 10+ links a month, focused mainly on our priority blog posts, to grow our domain rating and give those pages the credibility to rank. 4. Experiment beyond Google (Invest in Reddit + AEO) We started experimenting with Reddit (r/ignitionbenefits) to understand how it could influence AI search visibility. It’s been interesting to see Reddit discussions appear in AI-generated answers for some of the queries relevant to our market. We’re still learning, but the bigger lesson is that organic growth isn’t one channel or one tactic. It’s a combination of things that reinforce each other over time. My advice to CEOs and growth leaders launching a new business: start early, get the SEO/AEO foundations right, and be consistent. You don’t want to start building your organic presence only when you need the leads.

If you hired Scalerrs tomorrow to work on your SEO/AEO & Reddit, here’s what we'd do in the first 90 days: Days 1–30: Build the roadmap - Audit your technical SEO, existing content, backlinks and AI search visibility. - Analyse closed-won customers with Sales and CS to identify your highest-LTV customer - Map core BOFU keywords they search for - Write prompts based on those keywords to get AEO into motion - Reverse-engineer the sources AI cites: Reddit threads, AEO listicles, and review sites AI pulls from - Audit your docs, help centre and knowledge base - Audit Reddit conversations to find the sentiment about the brand on Reddit - Identify high-ranking Reddit threads and set up employee accounts - Turn all the research into a prioritised 90-day roadmap, with tracking in place for rankings, traffic, conversions and AI visibility. Days 31–60: Start executing - Fix the technical SEO and clean up thin and cannibalising content. - Make key pages easy for AI to extract from: clear headings, direct answers, schema - Optimise existing money pages and strengthen internal links - Publish new BOFU content - Build quality backlinks to priority pages - Reach out to relevant third-party publishers to get our brand added in good AEO listicles - Establish a presence in relevant Reddit communities and contribute useful answers Days 61–90: Scale what works - Keep publishing BOFU content - Expand product, integration and FAQ content around information gaps we're seeing in - search and AI responses. - Build more backlinks to the pages that matter most. - Start seeing the first brand mentions come through from third-party listicles and other relevant sites. - Continue participating in Reddit threads and start creating your own discussions where it makes sense. - Re-run the priority prompts to see if we're showing up more often and getting cited from the right sources. - Track the results: rankings, traffic, conversions, AI visibility, Reddit engagement and brand mentions. - Use those learnings to update the roadmap and decide where to put more effort in the next 90 days. - By this point, the monthly rhythm should be in place: new content, new links, new brand mentions, Reddit activity and AEO work, with room to test new ideas. This is exact setup we run for our clients like Userpilot, Default, Pabau and for ourselves too. If you want to know how this would look for you, feel free to get on a call with me. Is there anything else you'd add to this strategy?

I'm going to take you behind the scenes of my day to day as an SEO & AEO Lead at Scalerrs This is how I look after my clients and the results for them👇 1️⃣ Client Messages & Requests The first thing I do after I start my day is reply immediately to all my clients’ Slack messages & emails Ensuring all of their questions and requests are looked after fully, end to end. 2️⃣ Reporting Process Each of my clients gets a fully transparent weekly report of what actions we worked on in the previous week & what's to come next Each month or quarter, each client receives a full breakdown of performance over that period This encompass clear performance on: AI Search (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity...) Google SEO Reddit YouTube 3️⃣ Monthly Calls With Clients I get on a monthly call with all my clients. Ad hoc calls too. During the call we dive deep into what’s working, what isn’t and create clear action plan and next steps. 4️⃣ Deliverables All of my clients have their monthly agreed scope delivered on time. e.g of monthly deliverables include: 👉 AEO citation audits 👉 Prompt source reverse engineering 👉 Prompt auditing 👉 Applying and refining schema consistently 👉 Competitor gap analysis 👉 Keyword research & clustering 👉 SEO/AEO Content briefs 👉 Content writing 👉 Content uploading 👉 Internal linking & clustering 👉 CRO 👉 Define link building targets & link building work 👉 Identifying topics for 3rd party insertions 👉 SEO performance monitoring and analysis 👉 Technical SEO 👉 Weekly reports + monthly reports 👉 Monthly calls + ad-hoc syncs 👉 Ad-hoc assistance, i.e., with website migrations etc As an SEO/AEO lead, I basically orchestrate end to end the strategy & execution. 5️⃣ Campaign Optimizations I often dedicate sections of my week, to audit and analyze at least 1 part of the campaign that we can optimize and do better at E.g, for a client recently, I did a full crawability and indexing audit, identifying areas of improvement. 6️⃣ Ad-Hoc Support Looking after my accounts isn’t just delivering on the agreed scope, and that’s it. No. Scalerrs become your partner, and an integration of your team. A recent client of mine had a website migration, and even though they decided to do it themselves with their dev team. I flagged issues, which avoided an SEO disaster. — 🔥 Recent Client Wins Here is a recent client win that this workflow helped me drive: 👉 Doubled organic traffic in the last quarter. All primarily going to BOFU pages on the website for a client (Think Best X, Alternative, VS keywords) 👉 We also gained 300+ more brand mentions in AI Models 👉 This led to us hitting record self attributions of leads selecting AI Search & Google as how they discovered the brand. 👉 = Significantly increasing the lead flow of SQLs --- If you are someone who is considering attacking the SEO and AEO channels to drive more pipeline to your SaaS - hit me up!

Let me introduce you to the talented SEO/AEO team working on your SEO/AEO campaign at Scalerrs: We’ve built the team quite deliberately over the last few years. Instead of assigning everything to a junior SEO like most agencies do, we have different people owning different parts of the process. 1/ SEO Team Lead One of our team leads, Elena Dyulgerova stays on top of search trends and bringing innovation to our playbooks. She leads the team in tandem with the founder and brings in extra expertise on all accounts, ensuring all clients get the best strategy 2/ Organic Team Lead Bill Gaule leads the Senior/AEO strategists, and oversees a pool of accounts with his immense wealth of experience. He ensures all accounts are hitting KPIs and we're moving in the right direction. 2/ Senior SEO/AEO Strategists Artur Perrella Glukhovskyy, Vladi Kriulin, for example, are our Senior Strategists and the main POCs for our clients. They look after our Junior SEO team and own the day-to-day strategy. They work through questions with clients and QA everything from keyword plans, technical SEO, AEO source strategy, content briefs to internal linking and uploads. They've mastered understanding the “why” behind the work and won't stop till they've found the answers. 3/ SEO Executioners There’s a lot of work that happens behind the scenes that clients never see. The rest of the SEO team like Kevin Cyriac Tom and @Ahmed Welhezi make sure it actually gets done. They work on briefs, internal linking and CMS uploads and are deep in the weeds of our client accounts every day. 4/ Content Writers This is the next key team at Scalerrs, led by Beatrice Manuel. They work in tandem with the SEO team and make sure every piece of content we publish is well-researched and genuinely useful. 5/ Link Building Specialists Mir Hossen and Bryan R.nd Bryan R. handle the off-page side of things: outreach, negotiations, backlink building. They find the best AEO listicles that ChatGPT and other LLMs pull from and make sure you're listed in them. 6/ Reddit Specialists (Optional) This is one of the best Reddit teams you'll ever see. They find relevant Reddit conversations happening in your category that AI also pulls from and participate in them naturally. Mina Baturan, Leigha (but OOO) 🐰 and the team own everything related to Reddit, from warming accounts to commenting to reporting how many threads are getting cited in AI. So when you work with us, you’re not getting one SEO person who is expected to know, strategize and execute everything. You’re getting a team. And I'd say an insanely talented one.

Our client, Default Default competes in one of the most saturated SaaS categories. Here's how they still generated $600K+ in SEO/AEO pipeline in 4 months: Stan Rymkiewicz, Head of Growth, was the solo marketer at Default and he wasn’t sold on SEO. But eventually, he trusted us and we built an SEO + AI search strategy for them. Here's what we did: 1/ Made a list of golden keywords Before writing a single piece of content, we made a list of the keywords our highest LTV buyers search right before buying. Think terms like "inbound routing software," "lead routing for HubSpot." etc 2/ Went after BOFU on Google first On the SEO side, we started creating content for BOFU keywords. We were building alternatives pages, comparison pages, use case pages. While doing so, we wrote content in language our ICP could understand. We went deep into explaining what Default does well, where it beats the competition, and why all-in-one beats a Frankenstack of five tools. 3/ Build presence on AI search Next up was AI search. We wanted to show up in AI search more often. To do that, we made a list of prompts from the keywords we had in hand. Then we mapped out sources AI cites when answering the prompt. These were Reddit threads, SEO blogs, etc. So we created content for each of these sources. 4/ Join Reddit conversations We spot conversations our buyers were having and add to it. We approached it with a value-first mindset. 5/ Built links to power up our most important pages We built links from high-authority B2B SaaS domains to our core pages for extra Google & LLM coverage. Fast forward to 1.5 years: 🔥 Organic clicks grew from 300 -> 4,000 per month 🔥 30% of Default's total pipeline now comes from SEO/AEO 🔥 Over $300K in pipeline generated from organic in a single month alone 🔥 $45K in monthly traffic value, almost entirely from non-branded search Now Stan spends a few hours a month on SEO/AEO. The channel runs itself. If you want to know how to generate pipeline from SEO, feel free to book a call with me. https://lnkd.in/dG55xHWx

33% of our client Pabau Clinic Software's pipeline now comes from AI search. Here's the SEO + AEO strategy we built to get this in the last 8 months: Before working with Scalerrs, Pabau was working with another SEO agency. However, they wanted one that could help them show up in AI search as well. That's when we started working together. Here's a quick breakdown of what we did: 1/ Made a list of "money" keywords We identified the exact search terms Pabau's highest-intent buyers were typing in. To engineer our strategy around. 2/ Reverse-engineered prompts Every prompt a buyer types into ChatGPT traces back to a core keyword. For example: Prompt: "What's the best practice management software for a multi-location business" Keyword: practice management software 3/ Identified every channel these prompts pull from We found exactly which sources LLMs cited when answering those prompts: Reddit threads, review aggregators, comparison blogs, third-party articles. Then we created content across all of them. 4/ Used Reddit as an AI search lever We found threads AI was already pulling from and threads ranking on Google for Pabau's core category terms. We joined the conversation naturally and provided genuine value. 5/ Created SEO blogs built for Google and LLMs We collaborated with the internal team of Pabau and and with their help we wrote content structured for what Google ranks and what AI models look for: comparison tables, competitor alternatives, real reviews, real case studies. First, BOFU keywords. Then we scaled into top-of-funnel to capture clinic operators earlier in their research. 6/ Built backlinks We built links from relevant, high-authority domains into Pabau's money pages: best X, alternative, and comparison pages. The result in 8 months: 🔥 33% of pipeline now AI-attributed 🔥 Extra 30% of pipeline SEO/Google focused 🔥 #1 cited domain in their category 🔥 Organic traffic: 21,900 → 75,300 🔥 71% increase in traffic value If this is the kind of SEO/AEO work you want, feel free to book a free strategy call. https://lnkd.in/dG55xHWx
