We're dedicated to making quality, affordable health care accessible to organizations, individuals and families throughout Idaho. Recently, we hosted a community forum with leaders from a major Idaho employer and a regional policy center to discuss the challenges of rising health care costs and the importance of innovative solutions. We know that ongoing collaboration among business leaders, policy makers and health care experts is essential. By working together and championing smart policies, we can help ensure health care remains accessible and affordable for all Idahoans. https://bit.ly/48Cebnp

Over the course of six decades, Bennett Lumber Products, Inc. has built something special: a workforce so strong that employees spend three or four generations at their company. Their secret to such a strong company culture? Taking care of their people. Since 1961, Regence has been Bennett Lumber's health insurance partner, helping the company deliver on its promise: "You're paid like a professional and treated like family." "When we started our mill… Regence was there for us," says HR Director Teresa Quimby, who's been with Bennett Lumber for 34 years. "They've always provided exactly what we needed."

Daniel Meltzer, MD, MPH, FACEP, our Executive Medical Director, is still a practicing emergency physician. His dual role gives him direct insight into the challenges facing both members and providers. "Health care is hard. There's a lot of headwinds, and Regence has the opportunity to make it easier for everyone in the system." When our leaders understand clinical realities, they drive meaningful change toward high-quality health care at an affordable price.
