Follow Proven Results Agency to get more great tips like this one: 🎯 Customers for manufacturing & construction companies often want to talk to a human instead of filling out a form. Tracking incoming phone calls gives you transparency on your marketing efforts, so you can see where the calls are coming from and how well your marketing is doing. Tracking outgoing calls gives you transparency on your sales efforts. Ideally, it's your sales team following up on those inbound calls that came from your marketing. If the marketing isn't that great, then they will be doing cold calls sometimes. Either way, you want to track those outgoing calls. Here's an example of a client where the blue line is showing conversions. Phone calls were added to the conversion tracking where you see these higher blue spikes on the right and on the left is without phone calls being tracked. _______________________________________________ 30-second Marketing Tips for Manufacturing & Construction Companies Today's Tip: Call Tracking Get More Tips by Following Proven Results Agency! 🕸️

Follow Proven Results Agency to get more great tips like this one: 🎯 Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) is often the most effective source of leads & sales for manufacturing and construction companies. This tip is about Meta Ads. So, Facebook Ads and Instagram Ads, which is what Meta Ads used to be called, has been an unexpected source of customers for many of our manufacturing and construction clients. I have some of the sensitive stuff blurred out here, but this is an actual client's account. They've gotten the majority of their leads & sales from Meta Ads, from Facebook primarily, and some from Instagram. It's surprising how much actually comes from Facebook ads when it's still the manufacturing and construction industries. _______________________________________________ 30-second Marketing Tips for Manufacturing & Construction Companies Today's Tip: Meta Ads Get More Tips by Following Proven Results Agency! 🕸️

Follow Proven Results Agency to get more great tips like this one: 🎯 Google Search Ads still bring in exponentially more traffic than ChatGPT or other A.I. tools. Today's tip is about Google Search Ads. Your customers are still searching for your products and services on Google. A.I. is only a small fraction of Google traffic. If you look at the chart here on this website, SparkToro, you can see this in context here. These are the numbers for 2024. When we zoom in on here, we can see global number of searches per day. Google is at 14 billion. ChatGPT is at 37.5 million. So it's still a fraction of what Google Search is, despite all of the talk about ChatGPT and all of the A.I. stuff out there. _______________________________________________ 30-second Marketing Tips for Manufacturing & Construction Companies Today's Tip: Google Search Ads Get More Tips by Following Proven Results Agency! 🕸️

🔥Hot take: Is Google still relevant for your business in the age of A.I.? Your customers don't behave like marketing gurus & tech enthusiasts, so it would be foolish to assume they use technology the same way. I think the gurus are committing False Consensus bias, assuming everyone uses technology, and more specifically, A.I. tools the way they do. Yes, plenty of early adopters now use ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and other A.I. tools instead of traditional Google search. But early adopters are not the market, at least not for most of the target audience of our clients. Reality check: most people are still much slower to change habits, and Google clearly knows that. Advertising is still Google's #1 source of revenue. They will not just jump on the A.I. bandwagon and abandon their ad business. They're doing the opposite. At Google Marketing Live, they announced new ad formats for the A.I. era of Search and described them as helpful additions to A.I. conversations. They are building A.I. into the existing advertising machine rather than replacing it. That matters because Google already has the distribution, the inside knowledge about search behaviour, the mature ad platform, and long-term established business relationships with key partners like Apple. Don't forget that they also own YouTube. Meanwhile, some A.I. pioneers like OpenAI are adding an ad platform to try to monetize ChatGPT. Google is positioning A.I. Search, Gemini-powered ad experiences, and A.I. Max as ways to make businesses part of the conversation as search becomes more conversational. They’re also spending at a scale that’s hard to ignore. Google announced that their investment in A.I. will be roughly at $180–190 billion in 2026, which is six times the $31 billion they spent on it in 2022. So no, I don’t buy the “Google is finished” narrative. Of course, Google is not going to casually destroy the engine that prints its money. The practical takeaway for most business owners and marketers is simple: - Google still matters - Search is changing fast - Buying intent searches still matter even more The winners will be the businesses that adapt their strategy to an AI-assisted search environment instead of assuming that Google is disappearing. Short version: 1. A.I. is changing Google, but I definitely don't think it will kill Google. 2. I strongly believe that Google will be a catalyst in mainstream adoption of A.I. Do you agree or disagree? Feel free to challenge my assumptions in the comments!

You need to hear the Cold, Hard Truth: your Organic Social Media Posts do not reach nearly as many people as you think they do. In this screenshot from a few years ago for this long-time client, organic posts only got a couple hundred views per day, but when we launched targeted paid campaigns, they 10x their reach versus organic. Of course, they also started getting leads from those paid social ads because they were in front of their ideal customers. The reason is simple. We take excellent content you already have and repurpose it into paid ads that target the right audience on Meta and Linkedln. With laser targeting like locations, industries, job titles, company size, and revenue, you reach ideal buyers instead of a small percentage of your company page followers. Are you experiencing the same thing regarding your company pages? Let's have a conversation about that.

Where are You & Your Team on the Marketing Roles Matrix? (This Applies to Everyone on your Management Team, not just the Marketing Department.) To have a successful marketing department, a company needs to have the 4 broad categories of roles on the Marketing Roles Matrix covered by competent people. This is true regardless of whether they are in-house employees, freelancers, or agencies. The 4 categories of marketing roles are: 1. Strategist 2. Creative 3. Implementor 4. Analyst You and I can dive deeper into each specific category in a 1-on-1 conversation. We can look at the skillsets required of each one & whose responsibility they should be, which often depends on the size of the company. How To Avoid A Dysfunctional Marketing Team These 4 marketing roles should create a feedback loop. The analyst at the end should be informing the strategist in the beginning about how the different marketing mediums are performing and then decisions going forward need to be based on that data: Strategist > Creative > Implementor > Analyst > Strategist > etc. The smaller the company, the more these 4 different roles will be combined & consolidated onto less people. You have to be a generalist. At a bare minimum, you should have 2 people who split all of these responsibilities and they should be divided based on skillset and personality type. This is a step towards having specialists who work on things in their strength zone, which is ideal. Dividing these responsibilities can also be done well with one in-house marketing manager and one or multiple freelancers or agencies to support the marketing manager. So you can imagine how people who are strong in 1 of the 4 areas might struggle if they are saddled with the responsibility of something that's not in their strength zone. The extreme case is when all 4 roles are dropped onto a brand new marketing manager. The person new to the company has to familiarize themselves with... - the company - its products & services - their co-workers - freelancers or agencies that the company works with ...and then carry the weight of all of those marketing responsibilities. This can all be prevented with the '5 Steps To Address Underperforming Sales & Marketing Teams'. Contact us to learn more about this.
