Renting GPUs from a platform provider means the meter never stops. For teams running steady inference, hardware you own often pays for itself and keeps working. Pogo Linux builds on-prem AI compute you own outright, with your data on your own floor.

- Text-onlyIf your team is running a 12-node Splunk cluster, your CFO already knows the line item. Here's the math nobody wants to walk through on the renewal call: One LogZilla instance, on a single Pogo Linux 2U appliance, handles up to 10 TB per day. Real-time. No SQL queries. Out-of-the-box deduplication hits 40–60% before anyone touches a config file. That means a single box does what 12 indexers are doing now. Sometimes more. I'm not telling you to rip out Splunk. Rip-and-replace projects fail, and Splunk does plenty that’s worth its cost. There’s a simpler approach: put a LogZilla appliance in front of your Splunk environment and watch what happens to indexer growth, license consumption, and the size of your next renewal. Payback period on the customers I've put through this: days. Not quarters.LINKEDIN · TEXT-ONLYRecorded 28 Sept 2026
- Text-onlyLearned last week that one of the major log management vendors charges you twice for archived data: once to store it, and again to bring it back when you need it. That's wild to me. It's also industry-standard at this point. Half the SaaS vendors in this category have figured out that retrieval-as-a-service is a margin opportunity, and they're not in any hurry to fix it. LogZilla on a PogoLinux appliance handles this differently. Data stays in place with no hot/warm/cold tier shuffle. Rehydration is automatic when you query past your live window. Storage is on hardware you own, with a 3-year warranty. No retrieval charges. No tier conversions. No "we'll have your archive ready in 4–6 hours" support tickets. The data is just there. Currently paying rehydration fees? Let's compare your current setup against the all-in cost of the appliance. My details in the comments.LINKEDIN · TEXT-ONLYRecorded 28 Sept 2026
- Text-onlyYou’ve got a Friday night change window planned, and your engineer is going to shut down a deprecated interface. The problem is they fat-finger it, and it shuts the wrong one. Ever happened to you? In most companies, that's a ruined weekend. Somebody gets paged, half the team's on a bridge call by midnight trying to figure out what actually changed. I watched this exact scenario happen, but this time on LogZilla. The second that interface went down, the system caught it, checked it against the open change ticket, confirmed the change was authorized, compared the device to the gold-standard config, found it out of compliance, and put it back. There was even a human-in-the-loop step: a Slack message with a "fix it" button. Take the button out and it just heals itself. Minutes, start to finish. That's what "AI in operations" should mean. Not a chatbot bolted onto the side. If your change windows still turn into all-nighters, this is worth a chat. My details are in the comments.LINKEDIN · TEXT-ONLYRecorded 28 Sept 2026
