🎗️Did you know that colorectal cancer is the 3rd most common cancer worldwide - and that many people don't even know they have it until it's advanced? Every year in September, we observe World Metastatic Colorectal Cancer (mCRC) Day - a global moment to raise awareness, share knowledge, and remind patients that they are not alone. 💙 Colorectal cancer often develops silently, with no symptoms in its early stages. But when it progresses, warning signs may include: 🚨 Changes in bowel habits lasting more than 2 weeks 🩸 Blood in the stool or rectal bleeding 😣 Persistent abdominal pain or bloating ⚖️ Unexplained weight loss 😴 Unusual fatigue or weakness Risk factors include age, obesity, smoking, heavy alcohol use, a diet high in red or processed meats, and a family history of the disease. Here's the empowering truth: colorectal cancer is one of the most preventable and treatable cancers when detected early. 💪 ✅ Regular screening starting at age 45 can detect and remove precancerous lesions before they become cancer. ✅ A high-fiber, low-fat diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables can reduce your risk. ✅ Staying active, quitting smoking, and limiting alcohol make a real difference. ✅ If you have a family history, talk to your doctor about earlier screening. Early detection saves lives. Your health is worth that conversation. 🌟 👉 This September 24th, take a step for yourself or someone you love : - Schedule a screening appointment. - Share this post to raise awareness in your community. - Talk to your healthcare provider if you notice any of the symptoms above. Because awareness saves lives — and every conversation counts. #WorldmCRCDay #ColorectalCancerAwareness #mCRC #CancerPrevention #CancerCare #Oncology #PierreFabre

👩🔬 World Pharmacists Day Today, we celebrate all pharmacists and their essential role across the patient journey! In oncology, pharmacists are vital. Whether guiding patients through oral cancer therapies, helping manage side effects, monitoring drug interactions, or bridging hospital and community care, they are trusted partners at every step. Their expertise and accessibility make a real difference in how patients experience and adhere to their treatment. As cancer care grows more personalized, pharmacists are taking an ever-greater role in patient education, treatment optimization, multidisciplinary collaboration, and personalized care. At Laboratoires Pierre Fabre, we are proud to work alongside pharmacists around the world. Through our collaboration, we remain committed to supporting their mission and helping ensure that patients have access to the medicines and care they need. 💙 To every pharmacist, thank you for the difference you make, every day! #WorldPharmacistsDay #LaboratoiresPierreFabre #PatientCare

👉 Cancer patients often experience skin-related side effects during treatment. Dryness, rashes, itching, hypersensitivity… These symptoms can significantly affect quality of life and even lead to treatment interruptions. Yet dermocosmetic care remains too often overlooked in oncology pathways. It's time to challenge that! 🌟Act for Skin, Laboratoires Pierre Fabre's international program, aims to change this by making skin care an integral part of cancer care. Built on 3 pillars: ✅ Prevention – Aiming to limit skin toxicities from day one ✅ Care – Providing clinically tested solutions to relieve skin side effects ✅ Education – Empowering healthcare professionals and patients through scientific knowledge "The management of cancer patients must be designed and developed in a comprehensive way, in collaboration with expert healthcare professionals and patients themselves. Act for Skin perfectly illustrates this commitment by offering unique care solutions, through iconic brands such as Eau Thermale Avène." Dr. Gautier Doat, Eau Thermale Avène. What makes Act for Skin unique? - A multidisciplinary approach uniting oncologists, dermatologists, pharmacists, and patient associations - A proactive vision of skin care, focused on prevention rather than reaction - Supporting treatment adherence by helping patients feel better throughout their cancer journey 🚀Act for Skin is more than a program — it's a movement to improve patients' quality of life. 🩺 Let's build better care, together, by integrating dermocosmetic care into oncology practice and stay tuned for more. #ActForSkin #PierreFabre #Oncology #Oncodermatology #CancerCare #SkinHealth #PatientQualityOfLife #HealthcareInnovation #Dermatology #CancerTreatment
