If there's one thing I've learnt after talking to hundreds of businesses, it's that each business is unique. So why are you running your business on software built for everyone else? With Noloco you can describe what you need and Nola turns it into a working business app in minutes. But getting something built quickly is only half the problem. You need to be able to shape it around the way your business actually works: the steps, exceptions, people, clients, and everything in between. That's why we're building Noloco with the speed and flexibility of AI combined with the structure and guardrails you need to actually run your business on it. I made this very short video to show you what that looks like and what you can build with it. Watch the full video here 👉 https://lnkd.in/gvHtt8i2 Would love to hear what you think. And if there's anything you'd like me to show more of in the next one, let me know.

AI can build a portal in 10 minutes, but what happens when 100 real clients start using it? Who can see their data? What happens when two clients need different workflows? Can your ops team change something without breaking the live system? What happens six months from now when the business works differently? This is the bit I think we're going to talk about a lot more. AI has made building software dramatically easier, but building something that a real business can safely run on is a different problem. Imagine having the freedom of Lovable with the safety you need to run a real business. That's the direction we're taking Noloco: AI speed & No-code guardrails. Use AI to build faster, but build on something you can actually trust when your team, clients and partners start logging in.

Whenever someone tells me they've outgrown Airtable, I usually ask the same question: "What actually changed?" Most of the time it's the way the business operates, not the amount of data. More clients, more people, more approvals, more external collaborators... more exceptions to the process. The database is often doing exactly what it's supposed to do. It's the way people need to interact with it that's starting to show the strain. Before replacing a system, it's worth asking whether the problem is really the data layer or whether the business now needs a better way to run workflows, permissions and client collaboration. That's a very different conversation. If you're wondering what that next stage looks like, here's how growing service businesses keep Airtable as their source of truth while giving their team and clients a better way to work around it: https://lnkd.in/g9_-CvjP

Clients shouldn’t need full access to your internal tools. Whether you're a consultancy, law firm or agency, giving clients "logins" often means one of two things: a. You expose too much b. They get lost in your system So you fall back to emails. With Noloco, you control exactly what clients see: - The right data, at the right time, down to the detail. - Like showing project progress and deadlines, while hiding your "client asked for one small tweak #14” note 🤭 No oversharing, no confusion. Just clear visibility for clients and less back-and-forth for your team. See how this works in practice: visit our website ⬆

Stop teaching people how your Airtable base works. Instead of sending your team into tables and views, give them: - the right view for their role - clear actions to take - workflows that guide what happens next Instead of exposing your base to clients (and confusing them), give them: - a clean portal with what they need to see - real-time updates without asking Same Airtable, completely different experience. 👀 Behind the scenes: - granular permissions control who sees and edits what - changes sync instantly with your Airtable data - workflows keep everything structured as you grow No extra work, no duplicate systems. Just your data, made usable. That's why most Noloco teams start with Airtable: not to replace it, to finally run their business on top of it. If you’re already running on Airtable and thinking beyond the base, see what this looks like in practice 👉 https://lnkd.in/eATFGrjF

Most agencies don’t have a system. They have a mess of tools. What starts as “just a few tools” turns into: - A project tool - A CRM - A few spreadsheets - Slack - Email - Random automations holding it all together And suddenly… To answer one client question, you’re checking 4 different places. Your team keeps asking you for updates and you’re the only one who sees the full picture. That’s not a system; it's you acting as the system. And it doesn’t scale. Most agencies try to fix this by adding more tools, more automations, more quick fixes. But that just makes the mess bigger. 👉 The problem isn’t the tools. It’s that nothing works together. Until you fix that, you’re always reacting; never really in control. If this feels familiar, it's probably time for a system. Take a look at https://lnkd.in/dwySjxmj or comment below and I'll show you how it works.
