All Under One Roof, Better Post. Why Moonshine has Edit Color Sound Early on as a Post Producer, I learned juggling multiple post vendors lead to a ton of time and money waste with little upswing on creativity. So when building my own post house aka Moonshine Post, having edit, color, and sound mix all under one roof wasn't just convenient, it was transformative in the Atlanta market, and lead our disruption into the national market place. Ever experienced the difference? #FilmProduction #CreativeEfficiency

Hey, I’m not saying you should rob a bank or start a crypto fund for your film... But Sean Baker just made an “independent film” with a $6 million budget. The guy shoots on iPhones sometimes, too. Speaking of cameras… banks have lots of them. (Not that we’re suggesting anything. Obviously.) Just saying, indie doesn’t mean what it used to. Send this to someone in post who knows the hustle. #MoonshinePost #PostProduction #IndieCinema

The first cut of a director’s 20-year passion, turned theatrical feature film. No pressure. 😆 Moonshine Editor Patrick Perry shares the moment every editor knows, the first cut. When the director’s passion (expectation) meets your timeline. Signing Tony Raymond was shaped in Adobe Premiere, colored in Davinci Resolve, and full post finished right here in Georgia at Moonshine Post.

Why Moonshine's Producers are different, whats our secret sauce? All Moonshine producers have been show-side post supervisors themselves, including me. We've handled budgets, deadlines, and studio expectations firsthand, making us stronger collaborators. Real-world experience isn't just nice, it's essential. What's your team's edge? #atlanta #moonshinepost #postproduction

Another feature film. Another Adobe Productions workflow. Our editor Patrick Perry just walked through his timeline on "Signing Tony Raymond," and it’s a great window into how we build films here. We've always used Adobe products in filmmaking and series, however and since Adobe Productions rolled out in 2019, we’ve been pioneering it across full editorial workflows on feature, series, and our ad campaigns. This movie was no exception. What makes the difference is the partnership. Adobe has given us the time, access, and support to shape workflows that actually scale to primetime with collaboration across editors, create stakeholders, and finishing pipelines all under one roof. Proud of Patrick for opening up his process. Proud of the team for putting it into play. And grateful for partners who keep investing in the creative capacity of shops like ours. #moonshinepost #adobe #postproduction #atlanta

Director Glen Owen and Patrick Perry unpack why giving editors freedom at the start of the process leads to stronger storytelling. Fresh eyes can reveal cuts a director never imagined. When editors get space to explore, surprising choices surface, building trust and momentum early in the collaboration. This episode segment breaks down the balance between guidance and creative freedom, and how the approach to the Editors cut sets the tone for post-production. Along the way, we also ground this in the Georgia film industry and the reality of modern post workflows with Adobe Premiere and Adobe Productions. If you value collaboration and storytelling, holler at Moonshine, or me! 🤙
