Australian trucking payroll is breaking under complexity. Not because teams don’t care. Because trucking payroll was never simple to begin with. Driver allowances... Fatigue rules... Overtime and penalties. Most payroll systems weren’t built for that reality. They assume fixed locations. Predictable hours. Clean timesheets. Trucking doesn’t work that way. That’s exactly why we wrote this guide on Payroll Software for Trucking Companies in Australia. It breaks down how transport operators are using one system to: • Automatically apply transport awards and allowances • Capture GPS-based clock-ins for mobile drivers • Remove manual timesheet consolidation • Stay compliant with STP without extra admin • Scale payroll as fleets grow across regions If you manage payroll for drivers and you’re tired of patching together spreadsheets, GPS apps and payroll software that barely talk to each other, this is worth a read. 👉 Read the full guide here: https://bit.ly/48onh8i

We didn’t quite “go viral” - but a simple Facebook post sparked 80 comments and 300-plus reactions from everyday workers around the country. We asked one question: “𝗜𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝟱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗴𝗼?” What came back wasn’t noise. It was a snapshot of how people actually feel: • Some blamed 𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 - “Act like a manager to become one.” • Some blamed 𝘴𝘺𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘴 - “Keep records. It’s the only protection you have.” • Some blamed 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘭𝘰𝘢𝘥 - “Doing more with less staff.” • Some blamed 𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘩𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘴 - “I worked 10.5 hour days for 7.6 hours pay in the 90s.” The opinions were blunt. Some were funny. Some were hard to read. As a CEO, I’m taking it as a reminder that workforce management isn’t just software. It’s the relationship between people, expectations, and fairness. If overtime has become normalised, the question is: 𝗜𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 - 𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵? I’d love to hear what HR and payroll leaders think.
