We read a lot of tech résumés. Lately they’ve gotten noticeably better and noticeably harder to trust. Gartner found 39% of job candidates used AI during their application, and it predicts one in four candidate profiles worldwide will be fake by 2028. When a résumé can be rewritten for every job description in seconds, a polished one tells you little about how someone will actually do the work. Structured interviews and work samples have long predicted performance better than years of experience. With AI changing most tech roles, hiring managers want curiosity too. As our President and Co-Founder Andrew Jackson puts it, “Curiosity is the trait they’re looking for.” It rarely shows up on a résumé, but you can hear it in an interview. One question we like: “What’s something you recently learned that nobody asked you to learn?” In our latest blog, we compiled four more questions like it, plus how to fold them into a structured interview your whole team can run. Held twice each month, the Roundtable gives IT executives a trusted forum to share best practices and discuss everything from AI strategy and cybersecurity to infrastructure, finance, leadership, and career growth. Interested in joining us or know an IT leader who would be a great addition? We’re always glad to welcome new voices to the table. Contact Bettina Jones at [email protected] to learn more.

The biggest technology initiatives rarely hinge on a single hire. They depend on having the right capabilities, available at the right time, delivered through the right workforce model. As business priorities continue to evolve, many organizations are discovering that traditional staffing is only one piece of a much larger workforce strategy. Our latest blog explores why modern IT teams are taking a more flexible approach and how that shift is helping organizations move faster with greater confidence. Read more: https://lnkd.in/d98cgtDy

The definition of a standout tech professional is changing. Technical expertise still carries weight, but as technology evolves, employers are paying closer attention to what professionals bring to the table beyond their technical capabilities. And some of the skills making the biggest difference may not be the ones listed on a résumé. Our latest blog takes a closer look at the human skills setting tech professionals apart in 2026, and why they are becoming harder to overlook. Read the full article: https://lnkd.in/ezifmt_i

A lot of hiring relationships feel like a revolving door. You explain your business, your tech stack, your team culture, and your hiring quirks. A year later, you call your account exec and somebody new picks up the phone. I’ve been managing some of my clients for over 10 years now. I’ve watched their kids grow up. I’ve worked through two CIO transitions at the same client. I’ve placed candidates who later became the hiring manager I’m placing for. Just something worth thinking about if you’ve been cycling through new reps lately.
