Truthfully, when we launched Agents in Ashby, I was like… cool? It can do things automated? Maybe? Or something like that? With how fast AI is moving and the broad possibilities of some of the tools companies are introducing, I find myself a bit paralyzed by the possibilities. 😵💫 So I figured it might be fun to share some more concrete examples of Agents you could set up in Ashby, so you can straight-up copy them. (Or maybe be inspired?) One of the questions I hear from customers is how do you improve your AI-assisted application review criteria. And honestly, the answer is iterate. But one of the agents I tried recently helps make that iteration process much less painful by taking the qualities of candidates you hired for that or similar roles and creating criteria based on what you know about them! Watch the setup below 👇 And keep your eye out for some more Agent use cases from me! 👀 #AshbyAIAgents #𝘢𝘴𝘩𝘣𝘺𝘩𝘪𝘥𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘮𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘯 𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘢 𝘧𝘦𝘸 𝘧𝘰𝘭𝘬𝘴 𝘢𝘵 𝘈𝘴𝘩𝘣𝘺 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 — 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘢𝘭 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘢 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘪𝘱𝘴 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘬. Since joining the Ashby Talent team, I've been loving how 𝗔𝘀𝗵𝗯𝘆 𝗔𝗜 has streamlined our hiring process, and AI Agents opened up a whole new set of possibilities. It took me a minute to wrap my head around where to start, so I focused on solving one problem I deal with all the time. Lately, I've been leaning heavily into sourcing to find companies that align with how we're building out our Support team. One Agent that's quickly become a go-to? 𝗠𝘆 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿. If you're curious about what's possible, here's a look at how I set it up. Hopefully, it sparks some ideas for Agents you can build yourself! (Just don't go sourcing anyone from Ashby 😉) Have you found an interesting way to use Ashby AI? I'd love to hear it, so drop it in the comments below! #𝘢𝘴𝘩𝘣𝘺𝘩𝘪𝘥𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘮𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘯 𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘢 𝘧𝘦𝘸 𝘧𝘰𝘭𝘬𝘴 𝘢𝘵 𝘈𝘴𝘩𝘣𝘺 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 — 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘢𝘭 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘢 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘪𝘱𝘴 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘬. Someone taking a bet on me changed the entire trajectory of my career. When I think about the thought process behind it, it really came down to someone looking at what I was capable of instead of what I had already accomplished on paper. That's why the work Jen is doing at Clay resonated with me so much when we sat down to chat about it at our Offer Accepted Live event in New York. Her team had a clear mandate: triple their support hiring in a matter of weeks. The volume of resumes made it nearly impossible to consistently uncover every candidate who could do the job well. So instead of relying on resumes, they replaced the initial screen with a real project inside their own product. Candidates got to show where they shine instead of letting a traditional resume screen count them out before anyone ever saw what they were capable of. Not everyone who goes through a process like this gets hired. But if it's designed well, candidates can still walk away with something incredibly meaningful. Clay is a tool people already use across sales, marketing, and recruiting, so completing the project gave candidates real experience they could carry into whatever comes next. In my years working reqs, I always proudly considered myself a screen-in recruiter, and what I found over time was that taking what others might consider big swings on candidates does more than build trust and create a great experience, it is how you end up with the kind of unique talent that builds generational companies.

My Ashby hidden gem this week is Ashby's Newsletter functionality! Here's what makes it useful: → Keeping passive candidates warm and engaged → Sharing what's happening inside your company (growth, culture, team updates) → Promoting open roles without it feeling like a cold blast → Following up with people from talent community events What makes it different from just using a separate newsletter tool: Your audience is built directly from your Ashby CRM using advanced filters, so it's always current with no manual syncing needed. Candidate data stays protected under the same policies you already have in place. You can also track real ROI: open rates, click rates, and even where newsletter readers are sitting in your hiring funnel. The editor is drag-and-drop, so you don't need to be a design expert to make something that looks on-brand. If you're trying to nurture a talent community and actually measure whether it's working, this one's worth a look. Check out how I use it in my quick video on Ashby's Newsletters 👇 #𝘢𝘴𝘩𝘣𝘺𝘩𝘪𝘥𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘮𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘯 𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘢 𝘧𝘦𝘸 𝘧𝘰𝘭𝘬𝘴 𝘢𝘵 𝘈𝘴𝘩𝘣𝘺 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 — 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘢𝘭 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘢 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘪𝘱𝘴 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘬. Harvey is one of the fastest-growing companies in legal AI. Growing that fast means hiring fast, which was hard with a disparate recruiting stack. They needed trusted data so they could accurately plan how to scale across their global footprint. Claire Kaiser shares how Ashby gave Harvey’s team a single source of truth for their data, and with AI tools, helped them move beyond reporting and into forecasting.
