Hiring one designer is challenging enough. Now imagine hiring creative talent across multiple departments, coordinating with HR and procurement, managing budgets, and keeping a national campaign on schedule. Welcome to enterprise creative staffing. 👋 For larger organizations, finding qualified candidates is only part of the challenge. There's also the question of how those candidates fit into existing teams, workflows, and business priorities. And when creative needs change faster than hiring processes can keep up, things get complicated. We're breaking down five things enterprise marketing and talent acquisition leaders should know about finding, hiring, and retaining the creative talent their organizations need. Your freelance art director knows the brand inside and out. They know the stakeholders, the approval process, the creative standards, and which feedback actually needs another round of revisions. Then they leave. Not for a bigger title or a more exciting project, but for better benefits. Now you're reviewing portfolios, conducting interviews, onboarding someone new, and explaining why that one shade of blue is apparently nonnegotiable. So much for the flexibility and efficiency you hired freelancers to provide. Contract talent may offer staffing flexibility, but that doesn't make experienced creatives interchangeable. Benefits deserve a bigger role in your freelance retention strategy. https://lnkd.in/e3JzWD4f/?utm_campaign=Boost_Post_WebsiteVisits_Oct16,2026&utm_source=linkedin&utm_medium=paid&utm_id=1232913984&hsa_acc=506951819&hsa_cam=1232913984&hsa_grp=903753144&hsa_ad=1600913534&hsa_net=linkedin&hsa_ver=3

Your creative team is slammed. Do you need another employee, or just more help right now? Before you start comparing salaries and freelance rates, look at the work itself. Ongoing, core, institutional work tends to point toward full-time. Finite, spiky, specialized work tends to point toward freelance or contract. And if you're not sure yet? Contract-to-hire gives you room to find out. The right staffing decision starts with the shape of the work, not the size of the budget. If you're still confused, we even broke it down with a quick quiz. https://lnkd.in/eRmJ5iub/?utm_campaign=Boost_Post_WebsiteVisits_Sep24,2026&utm_source=linkedin&utm_medium=paid&utm_id=1214493484&hsa_acc=506951819&hsa_cam=1214493484&hsa_grp=900296564&hsa_ad=1573774214&hsa_net=linkedin&hsa_ver=3

Not sure if the role should be a contractor or a full-time hire? 🤔 Five questions settle it faster than a budget meeting. Does the work have an end date? Do you need the expertise, but not every day? Do you have project budget but not headcount? Swipe through the checklist. ➡️ ✅ Five yes-or-no questions, no gray area ✅ Built for hiring managers, not HR ✅ If 3+ land, you already know the answer Tell us what you're hiring for and we'll tell you what fits.

Contractors aren't a backup plan. 💡 For creative and marketing teams, the right contractor is often the sharper hire: niche expertise exactly when you need it, pattern recognition from someone who's solved this before, and a start date measured in days, not months. Swipe for the six reasons it works. ➡️ ✅ Specialized skill without a permanent seat ✅ Starts in days, not a full hiring cycle ✅ Scales up with the work, back down when it's done Need specialized creative talent without the full-time hire?
