One of the biggest drains on IT teams today is something incredibly simple: App access requests. “Can I get access to Salesforce?” “Add me to the finance folder.” “Grant access to Figma.” “Remove access for this employee.” Every company processes hundreds or thousands of these every month. And even in modern IT environments, the process usually looks like this: ServiceNow ticket → Manager approval → IT agent opens Okta / Entra → Assigns groups → Updates the ticket → Closes request. It’s repetitive. It’s slow. And it consumes a huge amount of IT time. So we built an AI Worker that handles it. Henry receives the request, checks policies, asks for approvals if needed, executes the provisioning in Okta or Entra, and writes everything back into ServiceNow with a full audit trail. No routing. No manual work. Just the task getting done. For many organizations, access requests represent 20–40% of IT tickets. That means a large portion of the service desk workload can actually be handled autonomously. This is what an AI Worker for IT looks like in practice. Not a chatbot. Not a copilot. A system that actually does the work. We’re starting with identity and access. Honest question for IT leaders: How much of your service desk is still just granting access? Check out how Henry the IT AI Worker handles app access requests autonomously with human in the loop. https://lnkd.in/dTXhVDY7

“Nobody got fired for buying IBM.” One of the most famous rules in enterprise software. For decades it meant one thing: Play it safe. Buy the incumbent. Protect your career. But today that rule might actually get you fired. AI isn’t just another SaaS wave. It’s a labor shift wave. The three traditional pillars of SaaS are already starting to crack: • UI → replaced by chat and voice • Business logic → learned and executed by AI agents • Systems of record → slowly becoming databases with APIs Meanwhile executives sit in the middle of an uncomfortable reality. AI might replace parts of their teams. But not adopting AI might replace them faster. A double threat: Being replaced by AI Being replaced by someone who knows how to deploy AI The safest move used to be protecting your job. The safest move now might be disrupting your own department before someone else does! So the real question for operators today isn’t: “Which SaaS tool should I buy?” It’s: “How fast can I redesign my organization around AI?” Because in the AI era...you might actually get fired for buying IBM. Curious how others are thinking about this...

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝗽-𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗧 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻. I didn’t expect to write that this soon. Henry has been live inside enterprise environments — not as a chatbot, not as a copilot - but as an IT team member. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱’𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗔𝗜 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗧. Over the first 30–60 days, Henry began orchestrating across ServiceNow, identity systems, and collaboration tools, resolving tickets end to end. • Provisioning access. • Managing distribution lists. • Enforcing policy. • Closing the loop. • Closing the tickets. Autonomously for the most part with human in the loop guardrails. We’re seeing Henry handling up to 𝟰𝟬% 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 on his own. But the real moment wasn’t the percentage. It was watching the team start comparing him to other IT human agents. • Resolution rate. • Speed. • Quality. • Auditability. Early indicators showed him trending toward becoming one of the top performers on the team. That’s when it hit me. This changes the labor-software paradigm. Software used to support labor. Now software can perform labor. Not in theory. In enterprise production. Henry is the world's first IT AI Worker. He’s already out in the wild. And I think the shift from AI assistance to AI execution is going to redefine how internal operations scale. If you want to check out what Henry can do - https://lnkd.in/e_n5RMBx

Something historic just happened in enterprise software. And most people are missing it. In the last earnings cycle: Microsoft beat revenue → $400B wiped off market cap Salesforce grew → stock down ~6% ServiceNow beat earnings → stock down ~11% SAP beat projections → stock down ~16% The entire enterprise software sector is now ~22% off its peak. Why? Because investors realized something nobody wanted to say out loud: AI doesn’t just make software better. AI makes a lot of software unnecessary. Good earnings aren’t enough anymore. The market is pricing companies based on whether they survive in a world where: • One AI agent replaces 5–10 seats • One model call replaces entire product categories Legacy software is stuck in a trap: Don’t invest in AI → fall behind Do invest in AI → cannibalize revenue This isn’t a crash. It’s a repricing of the seat-based model. At ai(.)work, we’re building AI Workers that execute real IT work inside your stack. Up to 50% of tickets resolved autonomously. ~70% faster TTR. 40–50% lower run costs. If you run IT and want to see what execution looks like - let's chat. https://lnkd.in/erfNBCzt

For years, we tried to automate work. RPA helped with repeatable steps. Workflows helped with routing and structure. AI helped with understanding. But IT didn’t get lighter - because the bottleneck wasn’t “tasks.” It was end-to-end execution across systems, approvals, and time. That’s what’s changing now. 👉We’re moving from tools that manage work to workers that can complete it: take an unstructured ticket, validate policy, request approvals, execute changes across identity and SaaS, and write everything back with evidence and audit. Not theoretical. 👉This is what it looks like in practice: access provisioned, passwords reset, onboarding completed, tickets closed - with full traceability. If you’re thinking about autonomy in IT, I’m happy to share how we see teams start (and where they usually get stuck). 👉https://lnkd.in/e2aUvRzV

AI Workforce replacing employees? In 1785, Edmund Cartwright patented the power loom which struck both fear and opportunity. Skilled hand weavers feared the end of their craft, and they were right at first. By 1830, their wages had collapsed, and riots broke out across England. But here’s the twist: The power loom didn’t just replace jobs, it reshaped the entire economy. Textile factories exploded across Manchester and Leeds. Entirely new industries emerged - machine building, engineering, coal mining, railways, and shipping. Britain’s textile workforce grew from ~90,000 in the 1770s to more than 800,000 by mid-century. What began as fear of unemployment became the foundation of modern industry! The same pattern is playing out today with AI. Yes, some roles will disappear. But new categories we can’t yet imagine are already taking shape. The question isn’t “Will jobs vanish?” - it’s “What new industries are being born right now?” It’s what I feel when speaking to various teams these days. We’re building the future AI Workforce at ai.work and I’m excited to be part of this evolutionary wave in modern human history, we’ll have great stories to tell our kids soon enough and tons of new jobs will emerge.
