The Nuclear Regulated Asset Base (RAB) charge is a new mechanism being introduced to support investment in nuclear power. What does it mean for businesses? In this video, we outline how the charge works, why it has been introduced and the role it will play in securing the UK’s low-carbon energy future. Importantly, we emphasise that suppliers, including Corona Energy, take no profit from this charge. Our role is to pass this through transparently while guiding customers on what it means for their energy bills. #EnergyBills #Nuclear

IS BESS UNDER PRESSURE? For non recourse BESS projects, the key question is no longer just revenue potential, but how stable cash flows perform under stress - especially as increasing FCA constraints put both merchant exposure and traditional tolling approaches under pressure. In our latest insights piece, our Originator, Fabian Lotz explores how this is shifting the focus towards smarter Route-to-Market structures that stabilise key cash flows while preserving flexibility.

“One part of the job is trading energy - the other is moving it from A to B.”🧩 Our Energy Movers are getting energy to where it’s needed, when it’s needed - maintaining security of supply, and balancing the grid when the wind doesn’t blow and the sun doesn’t shine. The team at the Isle of Grain, our joint venture with ECP (Energy Capital Partners), is just one example. Buyers changed the rules. After the Guardian and New Yorker investigations, only 6.4% of carbon credits still meet today's standards. Trust is no longer declared, it's proven. This ebook breaks down what buyers actually look for now: proof, traceability, permanence, so your credits stand up to scrutiny, not just a pitch. Download the ebook to see what's changed.
