Everyone knows the system is strained. Tool sprawl. ASPICE theater. Green dashboards masking red execution. Now add AI agents into that environment. More output. More automation. More uncertainty. Awareness doesn’t prevent failure when budgets tighten and timelines compress. When initiatives stall, leadership doesn’t ask whether the checklist was complete. They ask why engineering, and now AI, didn’t see it coming. What most organizations lack is context, not more governance. Without a shared execution model, you can’t see: • Where agents and humans are deviating from intent • Which decisions are amplifying rework at machine speed • How bottlenecks cascade into financial impact • Whether compute and engineering spend are producing measurable outcomes AI increases production. Context determines alignment. This is the context layer that makes agentic processes observable, governable, and economically rational. If you’re accountable for performance, control doesn’t come from more automation. It comes from knowing how the system actually behaves.

You pass ASPICE. You ship late anyway. When delivery slips, everyone blames engineering instead of blaming the framework. Now add AI agents to the workflow. Without context, automation accelerates the flaws of the system. See where agents and humans introduce rework, where work silently stalls, and where spend compounds before it becomes escalation. AI increases output. Context is what makes it governable.

You can pass every ASPICE audit and still miss your launch date. Compliance proves the process was followed, but it doesn’t necessarily prove the system is aligned. The real risk here is context. Status reports don’t show: • Where work is deviating from intent • Which decisions are introducing downstream rework • How agent and human actions compound into missed KPIs As AI becomes embedded in engineering workflows, this gap widens. Agents can generate code, tests, and documentation in minutes. But without process context, they can’t understand dependencies, governance constraints, or business impact. Until you can see how work truly flows across tools, teams, and agents, execution remains probabilistic. Context is what makes AI governable. And governance is what turns automation into control.

BYD doesn't have better embedded software engineers than VW. And Western automotive is still asking the wrong questions. March 10-12. Nuremberg. 32,000 Engineers Looking for Answers. They'll be at Embedded World looking for: - Better Ai Copilots - More project management tools - Faster code review workflows - Compliance automation Meanwhile, Chinese competitors already figured it out. They're not out-engineering you. They're out-measuring you. BYD doesn't have better embedded software engineers than VW. They have a unified data layer that shows them exactly: - What they're building - Who's building it - When they'll get it - How much it costs In real-time. Not in quarterly reports. Western OEMs are still stuck in: - Jama for requirements - DOORS for traceability - GitHub for code - Excel for project tracking - PowerPoint for executives And wondering why they're 18 months behind. You can't out-PowerPoint Tesla. You can't out-meeting BYD. You need process intelligence. I'll be at Embedded World (March 10-12) talking about exactly this. If you're tired of watching German engineering lose to Chinese speed, let's talk. DM me. I want to hear your war stories. #EmbeddedWorld #AutomotiveSoftware #ProcessIntelligence #Bloomfilter #China

The first time the world has ever seen a process graph that unifies human and agentic activities. Announced today at #celosphere by Bloomfilter. https://lnkd.in/gAR8-Rtz

Your AI agent doesn't need more capability. It needs context. I keep seeing the same pattern: Enterprise buys shiny AI tool. Deploys to engineering team. Engineers try it for a week. Engineers quietly stop using it. Leadership wonders why adoption failed. Here's what nobody admits: The AI doesn't know how your company actually works. It doesn't know that approval requests go to Sarah first, then the committee, but only on Tuesdays. It doesn't know that "urgent" from the VP means 48 hours, but "urgent" from the PM means 2 weeks. It doesn't know that the official process and the actual process are completely different things. So when the AI suggests something, it sounds helpful but feels useless. Because it's optimizing for a process that only exists in documentation. This is the process context gap. AI models are trained on public data. Billions of tokens from the internet. They know generic best practices. They don't know YOUR practices. The hard truth: → Public AI = commodity (everyone has it) → AI + your proprietary process data = competitive advantage (only you have it) Companies that figure this out early will train agents on their actual workflows. Their real decision patterns. Their genuine process data. Companies that don't will keep wondering why their AI investments don't stick. Context isn't a nice-to-have. It's the whole game. #ProcessIntelligence #EnterpriseAI #AI #Bloomfilter
