Antithesis

Excited to be in London for LDX3 next week! I am running a workshop called "Consensus protocols: the LEGO brick from hell." with anecdotes and learnings from 15+ years working on consensus-based systems. If you’re attending, consider pencilling this one into your schedule. Workshop Room 4 - Tuesday, June 2, 11:05am - 12:20pm - Wednesday, June 3, 11:30am - 12:50pm https://lnkd.in/dbDUu8KN I'm looking forward to good discussions around distributed systems dependability! #LDX3 #LeadDev #DistributedSystems #SoftwareEngineering #SoftwareReliability Antithesis LeadDev

I'm not one to post much, but I'm excited to be attending LDX3 in a weeks time where I will be running a live 10min demo of Antithesis, the leading verification platform for AI code and distributed systems. If you have ever spent a weekend chasing a failure that only showed up once in production, or shipped a release where the tests passed but you were not sure why, use my discount code LUIS15 and come say hi at our booth :) ! Anytime during the event bring your hardest production bug stories to me and we can talk through how Antithesis could have helped. Where: LDX3, InterContinental London The O2, Solutions Zone When: Tuesday 2 June, 10:40 to 10:50am https://lnkd.in/e8w_aHA2 #LDX3 #LeadDev #DistributedSystems #SoftwareEngineering #SoftwareReliability Antithesis LeadDev

Consensus protocols like Raft and Paxos are a fundamental building blocks in thousands of modern distributed systems, so implementing consensus is a totally straightforward, drop-in operation by now. Right? Right? Marco Primi will be at LDX London with LeadDev in a couple of weeks to walk you through the (partial) bestiary of dragons he's met in the course of 15 years dealing with consensus protocols. He's a little singed, but he'll be there, and you should be too. See you Tuesday June 2 at 11:05am.

Simon Willison thinks "vibe-engineering" is a thing now. But do you have the DevOps to support it? Do we do hot takes on #LinkedIn now?

If you’ve heard of Antithesis and wondered what it actually does, here’s the clean answer in precisely 4 minutes, 19 seconds. Akshay Shah (our Field CTO) walks through a real PR → a failing property → the triage report → and the multiverse debugger (time-travel FTW) to land on the root cause - fully deterministic, perfectly replayable. Come for the database poetry, stay for the pineapple shirt. Or is it the other way round? Kyle Kingsbury was on our podcast a few weeks ago to talk about the genesis of the Distributed Systems Reliability Glossary -- but because he's Kyle, there's all kinds of hot takes on databases. Because what else are you gonna do on the weekend if not listen to a podcast about how databases break? Full ep below.
