Every child deserves a healthy place to learn. That's why after the home, the second vital pillar in Water for Good’s Vision of a Healthy Village (VHV) journey is building Healthy Schools. Because without clean water and proper facilities, students can’t thrive. ❌ Children miss class due to waterborne illnesses. ❌ Girls skip school during menstruation without safe, private latrines. ❌ Students lose hours of learning while collecting water for their families. Through VHV, schools gain: ✔️ Reliable water points with 90%+ functionality rates ✔️ Private, dignified latrines ✔️ Permanent handwashing stations ✔️ Hygiene training and sustainable solutions The results are healthier students, better attendance, and a chance for every child to learn in dignity. This holiday season, we’re working to launch 10 new Vision of a Healthy Village communities to bring overflowing joy to 5,000 lives. But to do it, we must raise $540,000 by December 31. That’s where you come in. We invite you to join us in building classrooms filled with health, hope, and joy. https://lnkd.in/gRi3rcsf

We’re honored to share that Water for Good is featured in this year’s Light the World Giving Machines! ✨ Giving Machines are a creative and powerful way to encourage meaningful giving during the holiday season. These bright-red vending machine–style kiosks are installed in high-traffic public spaces across 100 cities globally. Each machine is stocked with cards representing different charitable gifts. When someone chooses a gift, a card is dispensed as a keepsake and the corresponding funds go to the selected nonprofit. Since launching in 2017, the Giving Machines have raised over $32 million, touching millions of lives. And this year - through the machines, people can now give safe water, sanitation, and hygiene – with 100% of donations going directly to Water for Good. 📍 You can find Water for Good featured in the following locations this season. Open dates and hour vary by location: Huntsville, AL | San Antonio, TX | Kennewick, WA | Kona, HI | Lahaina, HI | Orem, UT | Hilo, HI | Nashville, TN | Spokane, WA | Bentonville, AR Learn more about the initiative and find a Giving Machine near you: https://lnkd.in/gHemcZXX Together, we can #LightTheWorld — and end the water crisis, for good. #givingmachine #givingmachines #christmasgiving

At local schools, kids are learning healthy habits like handwashing through their school's WASH (water, sanitation, and hygiene) committee. With the proper facilities in place, they can practice those habits daily. Handwashing helps keep kids healthy so they can stay in school, and clean, safe water makes that possible. Learn how water, sanitation, and hygiene infrastructure help keep students in the classroom at the link in the comments 👇 https://lnkd.in/gPcpqt3e

The 2026 Drops of Hope Gift Catalog 🎁 is now available. Our annual catalog outlines specific, tangible line items required to sustain and expand water infrastructure and sanitation training across the communities we serve. Rather than a general donation, this allows partners to fund direct operational needs. A few examples of critical resource funding include: $38 to provide student access to a local latrine block $150 to equip a local water technician with specialized tools $600 to fund the maintenance of a community water point for an entire year Once funded, our regional field teams deploy these resources directly to remote project sites, ensuring local technicians have the parts and tools necessary to maximize uptime and keep water flowing. Sustainable water development relies on predictable funding for maintenance, tools, and infrastructure. By equipping local experts, we ensure communities have the foundation they need to manage their own long-term health and development. You can review the full catalog here: https://lnkd.in/dDumnaUy
