Willy Chavarria just had the best single day of ecommerce sales in the brand's history. The adidas World Cup collection launched exclusively through their new Agentic Storefront, built with Swap. It reimagines football inspired design through the legacy of the Mexican National Team, so the launch needed real identity and heritage. Every shopper got an agent guiding them through the collection, plus a virtual try on so they could see it on themselves before buying. 58% of virtual try on sessions ended in an add to cart. One in five of those became a purchase. Willy Chavarria said it better than I could: "A key pillar of our brand is the feeling of connectedness with our community, and Swap will change the way consumers around the world are able to interact with us." Major drops deserve more than a static product page. Proud of this one and an honour to get to work with Willy Chavarria and his team. Read the case study here: https://lnkd.in/gDJSYxZZ

"It's not that I didn't know about my job 10 years ago; my job didn't *exist* 10 years ago." Cole C., CHANEL's Senior Director of Fashion Technology Strategy, shared that perspective with me at our recent Vogue Business x Swap dinner. I just loved her way of thinking about career paths and the evolution of technology. We're so used to imagining our careers as a ladder: you do this job so you can get the next job, which prepares you for the job after that. And sometimes that's exactly how it works. ...but some of the most interesting roles in our industry today quite literally couldn't have been planned for 10 years ago because the technology, customer behaviors, and even entire business models they're built around didn't exist yet. I think there's a lesson in there for both people and brands: you don't necessarily have to know *exactly* what's coming next (literally none of us do)...but you DO have to stay curious enough about what's changing around you to recognize an opportunity when it appears. I get to spend a lot of time talking to brands about exactly this: what they're experimenting with, what they're skeptical of, and where they think ecommerce is headed next, especially with agentic technology moving as quickly as it is. Case in point: over BFCM last year, traffic to retail sites from AI tools grew nearly 700% YoY, and AI/agents were tied to 20% of all online orders during Cyber Week. So...a shopping channel that was a rounding error two years ago is now 1/5 of the orders. Nobody had 'optimize for AI agents' on their 2020 roadmap, but now it's on everyone's for 2026. (P.S. keep an eye out for some thought leadership on this coming from Swap!). We're in some exciting times! I'm carrying Cole's perspective into the next chapters of our industry 🚀

I’ve travelled to 20+ countries in 10 years to build my brand. Launching global retail was one of the best and hardest things we’ve done at NUDESTIX. Getting our product into the hands of customers around the world legitimized the brand, drove awareness early, and earned us trust and real feedback at a global scale. That shaped everything from product development to brand strategy. Every time we innovated on new product or mapped out a launch, the global customer was taken into consideration. But here’s the part nobody talks about: in DTC, the global problem almost always gets passed to the customer. How many times have you paid a surprise duty AFTER the product already shipped? and then tried to return it? nightmare. Swap simplifies the whole thing. For the brand and for the customer. it’s the infrastructure I wish we’d had. Link here to book a demo: https://lnkd.in/gTiUqyB6 #swappartner
