Another successful Bavarian-Chinese Summer Dialogue 2026 has come to a close in Munich — once again bringing together representatives from business, politics and society for an evening of dialogue, exchange and new connections. 🏮🤝 With welcoming remarks by Consul General QIU Xuejun and representatives of the partner organizations, the evening underscored the importance of trust, open dialogue and international cooperation in an increasingly complex global environment. Bavaria and China continue to share strong economic ties built on decades of collaboration. Today, more than 500 Chinese companies operate in Bavaria, while Bavarian businesses maintain long-standing partnerships across key industries, driving innovation, investment and sustainable growth on both sides. 🤝 Beyond the official programme, the Summer Dialogue once again provided an excellent opportunity to reconnect with long-standing partners, establish new contacts and continue meaningful conversations. Many thanks to Chinaforum Bayern e.V. for hosting this year's event and to everyone who contributed to another inspiring evening of Bavarian-Chinese exchange. ✈️ Bavaria's engagement in China extends well beyond the Summer Dialogue.
