Lidl GB ends cutting shrimps' eyes off and suffocating them to death. Thanks to the relentless mobilization of activists and negotiators for the past 2 years, new standards have been set for shrimps. Aldi UK is now the only major supermarket in the UK to have not taken a commitment to eliminate the most cruel shrimp farming practices. Sign the petition and take action on aldiprawns.com

There’s one chapter of Grupo Bimbo’s history you won’t find at their new museum in Mexico City: the 2015 promise to go 100% cage-free globally by 2025. That deadline came and went. Hens across their supply chain are still confined in battery cages - the same kind banned across the EU for over a decade - while the company builds monuments to itself. See what the museum left out: www.the-cruel-osito.org ICAW is not affiliated with Grupo Bimbo.

Grupo Bimbo runs over 54,000 delivery routes every single day. But there’s one thing they couldn’t deliver: a decade-old promise to get hens out of battery cages. In 2015, they committed to 100% cage-free eggs globally by 2025. In 2026, they opened a museum instead. The museum is open. The cage doors are still closed. ICAW is not affiliated with Grupo Bimbo

In 2015, Grupo Bimbo publicly committed to 100% cage-free eggs globally by 2025. That deadline has passed and the commitment remains unfulfilled. No public plan. No accountability. Hens are still suffering in battery cages while the company touts its values to investors and the public. When a company breaks a public commitment on animal welfare and then refuses to answer for it, that’s not just a broken promise. It’s a company that owes answers to its investors, its customers, and the animals in its supply chain. ICAW is not affiliated with Grupo Bimbo.

Grupo Bimbo committed to 100% cage-free eggs globally by 2025. It’s 2026, and they still haven’t followed through. The battery cages in their supply chain have been outlawed across the entire EU and in nearly a dozen U.S. states. Governments have ruled them too cruel to continue. Even major fast food chains have made and kept their own cage-free commitments. Grupo Bimbo, a $22 billion company, still hasn’t kept its own. ICAW is not affiliated with Grupo Bimbo.

If you own stock in Grupo Bimbo—whether as an employee or institutional investor—you should know what kind of company you’re invested in. In 2015, Grupo Bimbo publicly committed to 100% cage-free eggs globally by 2025. It’s now 2026 and the commitment remains unfulfilled. Hens in their supply chain are still suffering in cruel battery cages. A company that makes public commitments and then quietly abandons them isn’t ethical. It’s just good at marketing. See what’s really happening in their supply chain. ICAW is not affiliated with Grupo Bimbo.
