Reviving Prophetic Legacies in Our Time At ING, we believe that lasting organizational success depends not just on strategy or innovation—but on values. In our latest article, Reviving Prophetic Legacies in Our Time, we explore how the moral principles embodied by prophetic figures—compassion, integrity, justice, and service—can inspire leaders to build inclusive, resilient workplace cultures. Today’s leaders face complex challenges: polarization, burnout, and eroding trust. Prophetic models remind us that true leadership is not about authority—it’s about responsibility: - Centering ethical decision-making even when it’s inconvenient - Uplifting the most marginalized voices to strengthen the whole team - Leading with humility and courage, especially in times of conflict These timeless principles can transform how organizations engage employees, support diverse communities, and foster environments where everyone belongs. Charlie Kirk’s murder is a reminder of what happens when polarization goes unchecked, and what leadership demands from us now. He inspired fierce loyalty. He also fueled deep division. Building a future where diverse voices coexist will require more than tolerance—it will require courage, humility, and action. We share 5 steps leaders can take to move beyond echo chambers here: 🔗 https://lnkd.in/g-CskihC

“25 years ago today, I became a suspect. On the morning of September 11, 2001, I was a horrified American watching my country under attack. By the time I reached the office, the media calls and speaker requests had already begun. They didn't slow for three months. At one point the pressure put me in the hospital. I share this not for sympathy, but because it captures what those months were like for so many Muslim Americans. We grieved as Americans, and at the same time we were asked to answer for a crime committed in the name of our faith by people who had betrayed it. “A quarter century later, the numbers are sobering. Pew Research finds that 51% of Americans now say Islam is more likely than other religions to encourage violence, up from 25% in 2002. By some measures, attitudes toward Islam are more negative today than immediately after the attacks. What this tells me: fear is renewed with every headline and every election season. It grows fastest in spaces where no one is speaking. Understanding is different. It has to be built deliberately.” From our Executive Director Maha Elgenaidi, read her full reflection, and how your school, workplace, or organization can be part of the work: https://lnkd.in/edGJfT6v #September11 #Islamophobia #Pluralism #Interfaith #InclusiveLeadership
