Åhléns raised their average delivery fee by 29.9%, and their conversion rate went up 1.4%. I hear the opposite assumption from retailers across the UK and the Nordics all the time: increase the delivery price and you lose the sale. Many e-commerce teams never find out whether thats true, because changing the delivery fee for all shoppers at once seems like a risk few want to take. Zubair Bhatti, Last Mile Manager at Åhléns AB, tested a higher delivery price on part of the traffic instead. When the delivery fee went up, shoppers didn't abandon the purchase, they simply moved to a different delivery option. That finding now shapes how Åhléns prices and ranks the options at checkout. Year over year results from tests Åhléns designed and ran in Ingrid, measured in Ingrid Analytics: +29.9% average delivery fee; +2.3% cart value; +1.4% conversion. Zubair says: "Test your assumptions first, because those are often too old to keep carrying on. Let the customer be the voice of the change" The full story, including the test that changed his mind about pre-selecting store pickup: https://lnkd.in/ebCzfFmn Is there a delivery checkout convention you have never tested? ⚫

Shopper, retailer, and carrier intelligence are now in one system: Ingrid ⚫️ launched Agentic DeliveryOS. So who owns delivery at your company? Chances are if you ask around in your business you’ll probably get several answers. E-commerce owns the checkout options. Logistics owns the carriers and cost per parcel. Customer service owns tracking and returns. Finance sees the invoices. Each team runs its own stage well, but the delivery outcomes shoppers experience fall between the stages, and nobody owns the whole picture. Was the delivery option they wanted there? Did the parcel arrive on the promised date? That gap increases as agentic commerce enters the mainstream. McKinsey and EuroCommerce report that 61% of European shoppers already use AI to discover and compare products. AI agents build their shortlist before anyone reaches checkout, still the only place in which most delivery information appears. Delivery orchestration is the natural next step in agentic AI: real-time intelligence that reasons about the order in front of it. Retailers testing this now are setting the benchmark the rest of the market will reference. Cellbes is one of them: using AI to price delivery against real shipment cost rather than a fixed threshold, they increased delivery revenue by 23% and net delivery profit by 10%. Agentic DeliveryOS will run on real-time intelligence like that. It connects decisions across the whole delivery operation, from what each shopper sees and what’s promised to how every order is fulfilled and returned. Already today, Ingrid uses that intelligence to: → predict when orders will arrive; → rank delivery options based on real costs and commercial goals; → let teams understand and configure their delivery operation through conversational AI. Every outcome adds to what the system knows, so the next decision is better informed than the last. That means more personalised delivery, stronger commercial results and operations that increasingly run themselves. Find our more here: https://lnkd.in/exxJCnW3

Somewhere in every checkout is a decision nobody remembers making. A rule nobody re-examines is really just a bet nobody remembers placing. Someone decided, at some point, what customers wanted – and unless you go back and check, you're still living inside that decision, not the customer in front of you today. We went back and checked. Ingrid ⚫️ wrote about what we found – link in the comments.

I’m proud to present the Delivery Experience Index 2026, created together with our partners Wahsel and Insitepart! 🤝 Your deliveries can be on time and your shoppers can still be unhappy. That’s the delivery experience gap! 💔 ⭐ Based on insights from 5,000 Nordic shoppers across pharmacy, beauty, clothing, footwear, sports and outdoor, the report reveals that delivery accounts for 29-42% of overall brand satisfaction. Yet average index scores sit at 83-87%: good enough to look healthy on a dashboard, but low enough to hide significant commercial potential. ⭐ For retailers moving from the sector average to top-quartile performance, the model estimates: → 5–10% in additional sales 📈 → SEK 3–6 billion annually across these five verticals in Sweden (!) 💰 The challenge? The delivery experience consists of six touchpoints - often owned by six different teams. That fragmentation is where the experience falls between the cracks. Find out where to act first 👇 🎯 : https://lnkd.in/dwCEE277 Ola Wahlström, Tobias Jonasson, Tobias Berg, Maria Johansson, Anastasiia Starchenko #Deliveryexperience #Deliveryintelligence #Ingrid

Grrrreat news from the lowlands! When a new drop sells out in minutes, checkout is the last place shoppers should hesitate, so Patta Exclusive Sneakers BV. has decided to join Ingrid 🇳🇱 Founded in Amsterdam in 2004 out of love and necessity, Patta has grown from a single sneaker store into one of Europe's most influential streetwear brands, with a community that follows every drop across the continent. Delivery is the next part of that experience. Patta runs on Shopify, and the goal is to give shoppers a clear picture of their delivery long before they reach the payment step. What Patta is building with Ingrid: ➔ Delivery promises and shipping costs on the product page, not waiting until checkout; ➔ Clean checkout where delivery reads as part of the customer journey; ➔ Localized delivery options in every market; ➔ InPost integration and adding locker deliveries. Tomas Overtoom, Business Growth Manager at Patta Exclusive Sneakers BV., shares: “We’re improving the checkout flow with dynamic rates, clear PDP delivery promises, localized lockers, and every carrier mapped out in one slick view; this makes delivery an effortless part of the Patta journey.” Welcome, Patta ⚫

Many retailers I talk to have a delivery problem they've never properly recognised. E-commerce owns conversion. Operations owns cost. Delivery, the bit in between, usually belongs to no one. So the problem grows piece by piece. Checkout in one system, tracking in another, a handful of carriers each with their own setup, and returns off on their own, nothing joined up. It looks fine, because everyone is doing their job. But delivery promises stay the same for every shopper, tracking goes quiet after "order confirmed", and what you learn about carrier performance never makes it back to checkout. These are small gaps on their own, but together, they cap what delivery could be earning you. The fix is consolidation: one connected view where checkout, tracking and returns inform each other, so every decision gets a bit smarter than the last. Here's what it looks like in practice. NA-KD grew delivery revenue by 82%, and Nelly saved around £123K. Both teams got there by testing what actually made the difference, guided by delivery data instead of assumptions. That's the shift I care about, turning delivery from a cost you absorb into a lever you can pull. If your delivery is scattered across different tools today, it's worth asking what that's quietly costing you in revenue, margin or trust you can't yet see. ⚫ https://lnkd.in/eQ7sDNGT
