These numbers only scratch the surface of a bigger story: how a multidisciplinary team at ING Hubs Romania, working closely with colleagues in the Netherlands, developed a solution that is gradually becoming ING's standard for hedge accounting. Already supporting roughly 𝟕𝟓% 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐍𝐆'𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐬, it replaces local implementations with a common, scalable approach, bringing greater consistency, reliability and faster processing. 🌍 What began as an effort to standardise a complex capability now supports teams across countries, reflecting how expertise from Romania helps shape critical banking capabilities across the global ING network. 🤝 The platform was developed by the team at ING Hubs Romania in close partnership with colleagues in the Netherlands and the platform's users, whose expertise and continuous feedback helped shape its evolution.
