🇰🇿 The future of autonomous ride-hailing is here. Today, inDrive announced a collaboration with NVIDIA and Pony.ai to explore autonomous ride-hailing, with Kazakhstan as the first test market. The country stands out for its regulatory readiness, including its first structured legal framework for driverless transport. The three companies will evaluate whether robotaxis can be offered to riders in the inDrive app, with Astana as the first city under consideration. Pony.ai would provide its seventh-generation robotaxis, inDrive the platform and operations, and NVIDIA its AI infrastructure, including the NVIDIA Hyperion, the reference compute and sensor platform for level 4 autonomous vehicles, and the NVIDIA Halos safety system. 💬 Arsen Tomsky, Founder and CEO of inDrive, said: “Autonomous mobility has the potential to make transportation more affordable and accessible in the cities we serve. Partnering with NVIDIA and Pony.ai, we want to understand how this technology could fit Kazakhstan’s roads and communities – and what it could mean for riders and drivers across our markets. Kazakhstan’s forward-looking approach to regulating autonomous vehicles gives us a strong foundation to do that, and could serve as a model for other markets.” Read more: https://lnkd.in/dvikDZJE

😔🚗 María Cielo had a car in her name, but was too afraid to drive it. Her business had failed, she was raising her son alone, and she feared failing again.
