Does your instrument need recalibrating more often than it should? When the gas supply changes, your results change with it. A partial clog or a tubing change can shift the gas flow. Pressure fluctuations in the gas line can make ionization inconsistent. Either way, you get lower sensitivity, data you cannot fully trust, and more time with the instrument out of service. Here is what changes with IMI gas control: ✅️ The gas pressure stays steady. The CHIPREG EPC regulates each gas line independently and in real time, even when the supply pressure fluctuates. It measures just 14 x 35 x 47 mm, so it fits in the instrument. ✅️ The gas flow stays steady. The CHIPREG MFC measures the flow and corrects for clogging, tubing and fitting changes, and environmental variations. You get real-time feedback instead of an estimate. ✅️ One controller covers your range. With a dynamic range of up to 1000:1, you can use one controller for both low and high flows. What you can expect from the white paper’s analytical example: better ionization, higher sensitivity, and less instrument downtime. How many channels can your diagnostic instrument run at the same time? Traditional pressure controllers are large and expensive. Because of that, many OEMs feed several channels from one controller through complex valve setups. This slows down test times and limits design flexibility. The CHIPREG EPC (Electronic Pressure Controller) removes that trade-off. At 14 x 35 x 47 mm, it is small and cost-effective enough to give every channel its own dedicated pressure control. A single device handles both positive and negative pressure, from -1 to 7 barg. What this means for point-of-care diagnostics: ✔️ Faster tests ✔️ More assays ✔️ A smaller footprint Download our white paper, "True Gas Flow & Pressure Control Made Accessible", to see how OEMs solve this in practice. https://lnkd.in/e-t7yTZf #IMI #EngineeringExcellence #PressureControl

💡 Does your analytical instrument lose sensitivity over time? Pressure fluctuations in the gas feeding an ionization source or carrier line often show up downstream as inconsistent ionization, poor sensitivity, or unreliable data. 👉️ The CHIPREG Electronic Pressure Controller: 1️⃣ Gives each gas line independent, 2️⃣ Real-time pressure regulation. 3️⃣ Steady pressure regardless of upstream fluctuations. 4️⃣ Footprint of just 14 x 35 x 47 mm. When flow is the critical parameter, the IMI Mass Flow Controller is often the better choice. It controls the required gas flow directly instead of the pressure. It also compensates automatically for clogging, tubing and fitting changes, and environmental variations, which helps keep performance and sensitivity consistent over time. In analytical instruments, results depend on supplying gas the same way every run: feeding the ionization source, the carrier line and the detectors with gas at a constant pressure and flow. ✔️ CHIPREG EPC closes the pressure loop on the device itself and corrects for changes in tubing, restrictions or fill levels, so OEMs can add controlled pressure without developing their own control electronics. ✔️ CHIPREG MFC controls the gas flow directly instead of the pressure. It compensates for clogging, tubing and fitting changes, and environmental variations, so the flow reaching a detector stays consistent over time. Tell us how your instrument moves liquids and gases, and we will help you choose the right setup.

Is inconsistent liquid delivery or unstable gas pressure limiting your instrument's performance? 👉 In diagnostic instruments, liquid delivery accuracy often comes down to pressure control. Whether it's air-over-liquid dispensing or a pressure-driven piston moving liquid through a microfluidic chip, the accuracy and repeatability of that pressure determines the accuracy of the test. 👉 In analytical instruments, it's gas delivery that matters. Pressure fluctuations in the gas feeding an ionization source or carrier line show up downstream as inconsistent ionization, poor sensitivity, and unreliable data. Our CHIPREG EPC addresses both. It gives every channel or gas line independent, real-time pressure control, in a footprint of just 14 x 35 x 47 mm, with a single device managing both positive and negative pressure. → In diagnostics, that means precise, repeatable liquid delivery, channel by channel. → In analytical instruments, it means stable pressure at the source, even against upstream fluctuations. When an analytical application also needs precise flow control, CHIPREG Mass Flow Controllers can be a good alternative to pressure-based control. Whatever the application, we engineer the assembly around what your instrument actually needs.
