A free working session with Sean Anderson, CEO of Hoxo, for recruitment founders billing £250k+ who are still the only one doing BD. Wednesday 11 November, 8am or 4pm GMT. Application only.

A year ago, Magdalena King had 10,000 connections and almost nothing coming from any of them. She's a solo founder, retained exclusively in the SaaS community, and already brilliant at the job. But like most founders, the people who should have been hearing from her weren't. 12 months on, 60% of her business comes inbound, from Series A SaaS founders in the UK, San Francisco and New York. She hasn't hired anyone. We just got her in front of the people who already knew her. That's what Sean Anderson is opening up on Wednesday 11 November: a free taster, two sittings on the day (8am and 4pm GMT), showing recruitment founders billing £250k+ how to turn their own market into client meetings, and where a £1m+ niche agency starts. Application only. Comment TASTER and we'll send you the link to apply. Wednesday 11 November, 8am or 4pm GMT.

£228,000 invoiced and received from LinkedIn inbound, by a recruitment founder who still works entirely on her own. 10 days ago I received an email from a client we started working with 12 months ago, Magdalena Kinging, founder of Mekion Consulting. She is exclusively retained in the SaaS community, and when she started working with us she had 10,000 LinkedIn connections and almost nothing coming from any of them. She was already brilliant at the job, but like most founders, the people who should have been hearing from her weren't. A year of consistent effort has led to 60% of her business now coming inbound from LinkedIn (the other 40% is existing clients and referrals), from Series A SaaS founders in the UK, San Francisco and New York. But the bit I love the most isn't the number, it's what has changed before she even gets in the room. In her words, "my new client conversations now start with founders already knowing who I am." That's the business most boutique agency founders I speak to actually want, known by name in their niche, with clients coming to them, and still the one in front of every client. It's a fundamentally better way to work for most of us who experience it. She didn't hire anyone to get there and she didn't send more messages, we just focused on getting her in front of the people who already knew her and then grew the right network around them. If you are reviewing your diary for the week this morning, have a look at how many of your upcoming client meetings are with someone who already knew your name before you reached out.. PS. Well done Magdalena King - I am so proud of you!

Most recruitment founders are a little bit lost. They think the goal is more revenue, more headcount, and a big business they can one day sell. But very few recruitment agencies ever sell. And with AI reshaping the industry, nobody knows what a sellable agency will even look like. What most founders actually want is simpler. Financial freedom. The ability to provide for their family. A business that works as an asset, not one that needs them 12 to 15 hours a day. That doesn't come from more outreach or more headcount. It comes from clients choosing you. Hoxo helps recruitment founders become the most trusted name in their market, so they win clients through reputation rather than outreach. 78% of members billed £100,000+ in the past year. Our co-founder Sean Anderson explains the model in a free 10-minute masterclass. Simon Evans has pulled £100k out of LinkedIn in the last 90 days, and that was before this month even started. He picked up a retainer on a Director level search along the way, and his first post to go past 100k impressions is sitting at 130k now. On Thursday last week, he sent me an incredibly kind message that totally made my week! (screen shot attached) It ended with acknowledgement that despite being a veteran of industry, he'd became lazy and thought he knew it all. He didn't, and so he leant into his belief that if you don't know, ask someone that does.. Simon places senior BD and commercial leaders across financial services. He is not new to any of this. He has been doing it a long time but he recognised he needed help. Before we met in May 2026, he was, in his own words, sat waiting on responses to his last bulk recruiter InMail send. Either that, or chasing another intro from a client already in his network and telling himself the market was tough. We are having that conversation with founders constantly at the moment. The market is not tough for everybody. It is tough for anyone whose pipeline depends on other people remembering they exist. What actually changed for Simon is the bit people get wrong. It was not more effort. He is not working harder than you, he is not working later than you, and he did not find some clever AI trick that the rest of us have missed. He changed a small number of specific things, in a specific order. I am not going to try and compress that into a LinkedIn post, because I would do it badly and you would get half of it. So I am going to walk through the whole thing properly instead, and show you exactly what he changed. I am running 2 x private 60 minute online workshops on Wednesday 16 September and Wednesday 23 September, where I will take you through exactly what Simon did and the model the best recruitment founders in the world are running to keep opening new business opportunities each and every week! It is application only and the room is capped at around 30. Comment 'INVITE' and I'll send you the application link. PS. Brilliant to see your success Simon mate, keep going!
