🏨 Hotel on Rivington has 108 rooms in Manhattan. Many of its event buyers are in LA, Europe, and the UK. That creates a sales problem... Remote planners need to understand the property before they are ready to book, but every extra call, PDF, and walkthrough adds time to the sales process. The hotel changed the workflow using Visiting Media. 🔹 Immersive tours went directly into proposals 🔹 Sales reps used them during Zoom walkthroughs 🔹 Clients received curated links for specific rooms and event setups 🔹 Planners used screenshots to mock up branding, layouts, and staging One UK-based client planning a World Cup-related event used the experience before moving forward with an executive site visit. The bigger impact was operational. ⏱ Prospects could answer basic questions themselves 📉 Sales spent less time on repetitive walkthroughs 📈 Reps could focus on qualified opportunities 👥 The team handled more volume without immediately adding headcount The front desk also used QR-linked room tours to support upgrades at check-in, without physically showing multiple rooms. The lesson is broader than virtual tours. Sales capacity increases when buyers can educate themselves without depending on a salesperson for every step. That is a useful lens for evaluating sales technology: Does it reduce the amount of seller time required to move a qualified buyer forward? Where in your sales process are reps still spending time explaining something the buyer could explore on their own?

🏨 Minareto grew website revenue 185% from 2019 to 2025 with Blastness' AI Booking Engine. By 2025, 57% of bookings were coming through the hotel’s own website. That shift came from tightening the loop between guest behavior, pricing, and distribution. 📊 See how demand is moving 💰 Adjust rates and offers 📍 Change how inventory is distributed 📈 Measure what happens next The team had real-time visibility into booking behavior and revenue trends, while automation reduced manual work around rate management and direct sales. Over the same period, RevPAR increased 19%. The operating advantage is speed. When the team can see a change in demand and respond quickly, pricing and distribution stay closer to what guests are actually doing. That is a much stronger direct channel than simply having a better checkout flow. How quickly can your team turn booking behavior into a pricing or distribution decision?

At Novotel Geelong, 58% of guests now complete check-in online via Duve. The 109-room hotel also reduced reservation workload by approximately 8 hours per week. The hotel was dealing with manual check-ins, high pre-arrival call volume, and several disconnected systems. Upselling also depended on staff having the time and opportunity to make an offer. The Accor property introduced Duve as a single digital guest journey platform and moved more of the workflow into the pre-arrival journey. 🔄 Here's what they updated: * 🕒 Guests could complete check-in before arriving, reducing pressure on the front desk. * 📩 Pre-arrival communication and guest information were connected, giving staff better context. * 🛎️ Upsell offers appeared across pre-arrival messages, check-in, and in-stay touchpoints instead of relying on a single conversation. ✅ The results * 58% online check-in completion * Approximately 8 hours of reservation workload saved per week * Over 200% increase in upsell revenue * A 21% commission eliminated by moving away from the previous provider The operational insight is that moving routine work earlier in the guest journey creates capacity at the front desk. Connecting revenue opportunities to that same journey makes them more consistent and less dependent on individual staff members remembering to offer them. For hotel operators, which part of your guest journey still depends too heavily on manual follow-up: check-in, communication, or upselling?

hotelkit saved The Mandala Berlin 3,000 hours saved per year. One extra room cleaned per attendant, per shift. ~750% annual ROI. Before hotelkit, too much coordination was happening manually. 📞 Housekeeping relied on phones 📝 Updates moved between people and shifts 🔧 Repairs were easy to lose track of 👀 Managers had limited real-time visibility ✅ The hotel moved those workflows into one shared system. ✅ Room assignments synced directly from the PMS to staff phones. ✅ Repairs were logged with photos and assigned immediately. ✅ Managers could see room status and open tasks in real time. The result: ⏱️ ~1 hour saved per room attendant, per day 🏨 ~3,000 staff hours saved annually 🧹 ~1 additional room cleaned per attendant, per shift A lot of hotel labor gets consumed by chasing information. Who has the update? Was the task completed? Did maintenance see it? Is the room ready? When that information is visible in one workflow, teams spend less time coordinating the work and more time doing it. Where is your team still losing time to manual handoffs?

🏨 PEG Hospitality Group manages 30+ hotels. Its challenge was not generating group demand. It was getting every property to run the same sales process. Before changing systems: • Sales activity was fragmented across locations • Proposals and contracts followed different workflows • Leadership had limited portfolio visibility • New hires took too long to learn the process PEG centralized pipeline tracking, standardized proposal and contract templates, and moved signing into one digital workflow using Event Temple. The operational change was consistency. ✅ Sales directors followed the same process ✅ Leadership could see where deals were moving or stalling ✅ New hires could get productive faster ✅ Fewer details were lost between inquiry, proposal, and contract Usability mattered as much as functionality. The system had to work for sales leaders with decades of experience and for newer employees entering the industry. That is where many multi-property sales operations break down. The software may have enough features, but each property still develops its own process. Standardization creates practical value: 📈 Clearer reporting ⚡ Faster onboarding 🤝 Smoother handoffs 💰 Fewer lost opportunities How consistent is the group sales process across your properties?

Rainmaker Hospitality grew from 16 to 28 hotels without adding accounting staff. The constraint was not demand. It was the back office. ❌ Bank reconciliations happened manually once a month. ❌ Reporting lived in spreadsheets. ❌ Finance and operations worked from different systems, so each property added more coordination, more reconciliation, and more room for error. Rainmaker consolidated its PMS data, financial reporting, bank accounts, approvals, and portfolio dashboards into Hotel Investor Apps (HIA). The practical changes were straightforward: ✅ Bank transactions flowed into the accounting system automatically. ✅ Managers reviewed invoices and approvals from their phones. ✅ Leadership could see cash positions across the portfolio without waiting for month-end reporting. ⏰ The team cut reconciliation time by 50% and moved from monthly reconciliations to weekly ones. Books closed faster, and the portfolio grew by 75% without a larger accounting team. 🚀 Growth exposes every manual handoff in the back office. 💡 Before adding headcount, operators should identify which recurring tasks still depend on spreadsheets, delayed data, and people moving information between systems. Which back-office process would become the biggest constraint if your portfolio grew by 50%?
