How to Build a Sports Club At Hollow Rocks, we know how to build a sports and social club, having built our own over the past two years. 1,000 members, 100 sessions a week, playing all across London, with an average rating of 4.9 based on 2,000+ reviews. With the launch of HR-X, we’ve taken all that knowledge and turned it into a process for building our clients their very own custom sports clubs, aligned to their goals, their culture and the interests of their teams. The rise of corporate fitness chains played into this trend as company sports clubs became replaced by a discounted gym membership, sadly missing the wider cultural benefits that belonging to a company sports club had been providing, beyond simply keeping staff physically fit. The goals that company sports clubs were designed to achieve back then, such as improving employee retention, building the culture, supporting individual health and fitness and helping people develop relationships with one another are as relevant today as they were back then.
