𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗠𝗨𝗦 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝗘𝗽𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝟭: 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘀 Below the surface, above the waves and in the air: Threats at sea may be difficult to see – but that doesn’t make it less real. At this year’s REPMUS, together with the German Navy and other NATO countries, HENSOLDT has tested new (anti-)drone systems off the Atlantic coast of Portugal. Ever since incidents of damage and sabotage to pipelines and communication links have occurred, public awareness of the vulnerability of critical infrastructure on the seabed has grown significantly. However, #REPMUS is not a traditional naval exercise, but more like an experimental laboratory. Together with scientific and industrial partners such as HENSOLDT, the armed forces are testing what actually works under real-world conditions. The data collected is collated, analysed and systems adapted – and then the next trial begins. Amidst drones, antennas and computers, one thing becomes clear: even the most advanced technology cannot function without people. It is soldiers who plan tests, monitor missions and make decisions. Technical specialists – not machines – look for vulnerabilities and adjust parameters. Developers work side by side with military users and receive first-hand feedback. Two of these technical specialists, our colleagues Florian Spechtel and Tobias Drauschke, share their firsthand perspectives in this initial glimpse into #REPMUS2026. Curious to find out which of our technologies were in action at #REPMUS? In Episode 2, we take a closer look at the HENSOLDT sensors being tested – and what they have to prove in real-world maritime conditions.

No matter if military, border patrol, maritime surveillance and law-enforcement operations – commanders require real-time intelligence in areas of operational interest. To detect, identify, track and geolocate objects of interest, they need proven airborne reconnaissance, surveillance and targeting capabilities that enable successful operations, even in poor visibility. Designed for installation on helicopters, fixed-wing aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles, the HENSOLDT ARGOS-15 airborne electro-optical system provides combat-proven surveillance (ISR) and targeting (ISTAR) capabilities. This state-of-the-art, 15-inch gimbal-mounted system provides unparalleled performance for medium to high-altitude missions on both manned and unmanned airborne platforms. Next time on booth at MSPO in Kielce, Poland. Request a meeting at https://lnkd.in/dECf4FfS

For military operations to be successful they must be based on accurate intelligence, effective targeting and precise engagement. Performing these tasks from a safe distance is essential for achieving the mission and ensuring personnel safety. Thus, troops need reliable, mission-approved, combat-proven Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance (ISTAR) capabilities. Once targets have been identified, forces can use precision-guided weapons to eliminate them with minimal collateral damage. This challenge can be met with HENSOLDT’s Target Acquisition & Reconnaissance Optronical Sighting System, short #TAROSS. Designed for use in remote-controlled weapons stations, light reconnaissance vehicles, unmanned ground vehicles and medium-calibre turrets, TAROSS provides perfectly tailored modular reconnaissance and gunner sight. The next opportunity to talk with our experts in person about this new space solution will be at MSPO in Kielce, Poland. Write us via https://lnkd.in/dECf4FfS to request a meeting at the booth!
