Why does Henry AI exist? Because Sammy Greenwall saw a gap that needed fixing and decided to build the solution instead of waiting for someone else to. This is only the start, underwriting and comps research are already live, with a lot more on the way. Click the link in the comments to learn more. 🚀 #henryai #commercialrealestate #aitools

Every broker on a deal is selling the same thing. The client picks the one who shows up first with the best work. Two years ago, that meant throwing people at it. Analysts, designers, late nights, brute force. A year ago, AI arrived, but most brokers didn’t know what to do with it. Same workflows. Same headcount. Today, one broker can work like they have a team of 10 behind them. Underwriting. Comps. The deck. Buyer and lender lists. Here’s what I’ve watched happen with our customers at Henry: They get deals to market faster. They run more deals at once. They get their calendars back. And they generate a disproportionate share of the revenue. In a commoditized business, speed, accuracy and the quality of your work are the edge. How is your team actually using AI today? Tom de Jong has sold roughly $2 billion in self-storage assets. He was still spending days on every BOV. Half a day or more to compile the information. Then another three or four days while a separate team added polish. Two to three days just to compile a portfolio. His workload swings. Some weeks there’s work for two analysts, some weeks for none. Hiring for the peak never made sense. So he went looking for a way to be more efficient without adding headcount. His summary: “What used to take days now takes hours.” And the line I’d hang on the wall: “Henry gives me my time back. That’s the most valuable thing it could do.” Even at the biggest firms, the scarcest resource for a top broker is time. How many days a month does your team spend getting BOVs out the door? Meir Perlmuter had a good problem. Grandstone Investment Sales was producing 60 to 90 BOVs a month. About 10 brokers. One analyst. His words: “It just wasn’t feasible.” Turnaround had stretched to 7 to 14 days, in a business where speed is the edge. The obvious fix was to hire. Instead: “We were looking at hiring another analyst for $70,000. Instead, we used Henry and 3x’ed our output.” Henry now handles the demographic pulls, the mapping and the formatting. His analyst does far less cutting and pasting, and one person covers the work of three. Grandstone did $70M in its first year, is targeting $150M this year, and is aiming for $450M in three. That’s what scaling looks like when headcount doesn’t have to grow with the pipeline. If you needed to triple output next quarter, would your first move be a job posting? The most expensive person on a CRE deal team is often doing the cheapest work. Ryan Horowitz put it bluntly: “We’re an old school shop. We are not graphic designers.” But for a $400M loan portfolio, his team still spent 18+ hours building the deal book. Pulling comps. Formatting photos. Building tables and charts. Running detailed quality checks. That’s more than two full working days from people whose real job is originating the next deal. Today, Cooper Horowitz produces the same branded Offering Memorandum in under 15 minutes. A third-generation family firm founded in 1964 now competes on presentation with national brokerages, without hiring designers or adding headcount. Clients noticed too. Their advisors regularly hear: “I can’t believe how quickly you delivered this, and how professional it looks.” Most CRE firms treat automation as a way to cut costs. The bigger win is capacity. Every hour your brokers stop formatting is an hour they can spend on the phone, in a meeting, or chasing a deal someone else hasn’t found yet. What’s the one task your best people shouldn’t still be doing? Read more here: https://lnkd.in/eZwjNbEn
