Last week, our team hosted a powerhouse group of Retail Registered Dietitians for the annual Retail RD Immersion Event alongside the Global Produce & Floral Show. This event is a cornerstone of how we connect the produce industry with retail dietitian leaders to inspire more fruit and veggie consumption, every day. Here’s what made this year’s experience so special: - Sensory learning that sparks behavior change: From exploring “mouth behavior” to diving into how texture influences taste preferences, attendees experienced firsthand how fun, engaging food science can drive more delicious produce moments at retail. - Innovation at every turn: From new packaging and convenience-forward products to fresh storytelling ideas, the creativity on the show floor and in our sessions proves the future of produce is bright — and full of possibility. - Collaboration that drives impact: When retail RDs, brands and growers come together, ideas turn into action. We saw incredible synergy this year around making produce more accessible, craveable and shoppable, both online and in-store. - Insights fueling inspiration: Through data-driven discussions and shared shopper trends, we uncovered new ways to connect with consumers and influence positive behavior change where it matters most — at the point of purchase. We extend a huge thanks to our partners, speakers and attendees who made this immersive experience so energizing. Together, we’re proving that collaboration and creativity are key to helping people #haveaplant every time they eat. #GPFS2025 #RetailDietitians #NutritionEducation #BehaviorChange #ProduceIndustry #ProduceMarketing The Foundation for Fresh Produce California Walnut Board & Commission Stemilt Growers Duda Farm Fresh Foods California Giant Berry Farms Chilean Fresh Fruit Assn F&S Fresh Foods Fresh Express Sunkist Growers Taylor Farms Westfalia Fruit Fresh Innovations, LLC Pear Bureau Northwest - USA Pears 🍐 Sakata Seed America, Inc.
