Richiedi maggiori informazioni senza impegno.

In industrial systems, the biggest problems often start with the smallest components. A non-compliant gasket can lead to leaks, pressure loss, system inefficiencies, and unplanned downtime — costs that can quickly exceed the value of the component itself. And that’s not all. Engineers and manufacturers regularly deal with issues such as: - compound incompatibility with aggressive chemicals, - material degradation over time, - deformation caused by temperature, pressure, or mechanical stress. That’s why, when it comes to custom rubber components, quality is not just the final inspection step. It is the real driver of the entire process. It starts with selecting the right compound, designing the component for the real operating conditions, and ensuring consistent controls throughout production. Because when a component is engineered and manufactured with the right level of quality, it does more than simply work: it supports the reliability and continuity of the entire system. A project built on research, development, and collaboration can evolve into something even more tangible. The Chemwall trademark is now officially registered. Chemwall is a composite compound developed for sealing components designed to operate in demanding environments, such as pumps used in the Car Wash industry. In these applications, seals are constantly exposed to aggressive chemical detergents, mechanical stress, and intensive operating cycles. Chemwall was developed precisely to address these challenges — providing chemical resistance, operational continuity, and long-term durability, while helping reduce maintenance requirements and system downtime. This achievement stems from the close collaboration between the technical teams of GB and UDOR, working together to develop a truly tailored solution for this specific application. Registering the trademark marks an important milestone: recognition of the engineering and material development behind a solution designed to enhance component performance. 🔬 New equipment in the GB R&D laboratory We have recently introduced a Moving Die Rheometer (MDR) into our R&D laboratory, an instrument used to precisely analyze the behaviour of rubber compounds during the vulcanization process. This technology allows us to evaluate key parameters such as: 🔹 curing time 🔹 rheological behaviour of the compound 🔹 process stability and repeatability For our customers this means: ✔ greater control over compound quality ✔ faster development of new solutions ✔ more stable and predictable moulding processes A further step in strengthening our research and development activities in support of rubber component production.
