JOIN US FOR A DISCUSSION IN BRUSSELS Synthetic fertilizers help feed around half of the world’s population. Yet ammonia production still depends heavily on fossil gas — exposing our food system to geopolitical shocks while generating around 2% of global CO₂ emissions. The last breakthrough that fundamentally transformed fertilizer production came more than a century ago in Germany. The Haber-Bosch process revolutionized synthetic fertilizer production, but today it remains overwhelmingly dependent on fossil fuels. It is time for the next breakthrough. On 12 October in Brussels, we will bring together policymakers and experts to explore how green hydrogen and emerging fertilizer technologies could help build a cleaner, more resilient food system — while creating opportunities for a mutually beneficial EU–Africa partnership. How can European investment help build green industries in Africa rather than simply secure imports? And what role should EU policy play in getting the next generation of fertilizer technologies to scale? Join Future Cleantech Architects and the United Nations University - Institute for Environment and Human Security (UNU-EHS) the event: Green Hydrogen & Innovative Fertilizer Production: An Africa–EU Partnership 📅 12 October | 14:00–15:30 📍 Brussels | NRW Representation to the EU Register through the LinkedIn Event below. Abundant Energy Under Our Feet ⚡ Unlike solar and wind, next-gen geothermal can deliver 24/7 power around, strengthening Europe's energy security and industrial competitiveness. Join Future Cleantech Architects to learn more!

What if clean electricity was available almost anywhere? Next-generation geothermal could transform Europe's energy system by providing clean, reliable electricity. Unlike solar and wind, next-gen geothermal can deliver 24/7 power around, strengthening Europe's energy security and industrial competitiveness. Europe's geothermal potential is enormous, but the technology remains underdeveloped. Unlocking it will require targeted policy, investment, and innovation. At Future Cleantech Architects, we explore the technologies that can complement wind and solar to build a resilient and competitive energy system. Join us!

Aviation's biggest climate impact is from NOT carbon. More than 60% of aviation's warming comes other greenhouse gases, such as water vapor forming contrails. At Future Cleantech Architects, we explore the innovations and policies to close such climate innovation gaps. Follow us!
