In 2017, the best AI scored IQ 47 on a standardized test. First-grade level. Now the intelligence has caught up to humans. But that's not the interesting part. While the intelligence was catching up, the context capacity blew past us. Quietly. Humans hold about 7 items in working memory. Not pages. Items. A phone number is already pushing it. Current models hold thousands of pages and reason across all of them at once. I think most people still sort AI into two buckets: "not good enough yet" or "will be superhuman someday." They're missing the level we're actually sitting in right now. → Level 1 was the party trick era. Impressive demos, zero trust. → Level 2 is now. Human-level intelligence with superhuman context. A law firm ran it on 200-page M&A agreements. What took associates 2.5 hours took 45 minutes. Zero missed cross-references across 150+ contracts. → Level 3 is arriving. We've seen early signals this month. But most companies haven't even caught up to Level 2 yet. They're still using AI for party tricks when they should be putting their entire context in front of it. I wrote a longer breakdown of the three levels. Link in comments.

Hi, I'm a brick building and I just found out someone saved the 2019 roof inspection report inside a folder called "Karen's stuff." Karen left in 2021. I also discovered we have three versions of my floor plans. One is a photo of a napkin. One is a scanned fax. One is labeled "FINAL" but was last edited in 2014. Nobody knows which one is correct. Including me. Yesterday someone asked where my building permit was. I wanted to answer. I really did. But I was too busy staring into the void of a 47-folder-deep file structure that leads nowhere. I've seen things. I can't unsee them. — A very disturbed building Curious what "Ask Findable" could do for your buildings? We're running a live webinar to show you just that. Next week, Findable is hosting its first Asset Managers Insight Forum at Aqua Shard, London. 🇬🇧 Taking place on Wednesday 10 June, we're bringing together a highly curated group of senior asset-management leaders to tackle the elephant in the room: making critical portfolio decisions when your underlying property data refuses to talk to each other. No vendor pitches. No slides. Just an honest, closed-door conversation among peers navigating the exact same fragmented data realities. We're finalising the group now. If this is the kind of conversation you'd want to be part of — on June 10th, or at our next session in September — we'd love to hear from you. 👇

Golden Thread is not a folder. It is evidence you can produce under pressure. If building records are split across SharePoint, shared drives, inboxes and contractor handovers, the risk is retrieval — not storage. Use the evidence-readiness check to see whether your building documentation works as a single source of truth when an audit, incident or resident request lands. Download the check.
