Next Webinar! How do you build an energy data setup that scales? Putting meters in place is the easy part. Installing them the right way, in the right spot, is not. The hard part comes after: turning scattered data streams into a clean, centralised layer you can trust and act on. A lot of organisations start with a bad setup from a local advisor, and a year or two later it doesn't meet the new norms, or it just won't scale. So the whole thing has to be rebuilt. All that capex, spent twice. That's what we will be discussing in our webinar: How to bring every source into one controlled layer and turn your fragmented data into a centralised backbone -whether you're starting from scratch or extending your landscape. I'll be joined by Matthias Hauzeur (VGP) and Jarne Beyls (Oktow), sharing hands-on experience managing energy data across large-scale portfolios. 🗓️ August 27 🕒 15:00 CET ➡️ Register here: https://lnkd.in/eN_TXCrB

Your energy consumption went up. But can you prove what caused it? Many energy managers make the same mistake: compare February this year to February last year. - Energy up = bad - Energy down = good Except last year, one wing of the building was empty, the weather was different, and three renovation projects overlapped. By the time you dig through invoices and figure out whether consumption is "down on average”, it's too late. If a savings project seems to have failed, the contractor shrugs: "Commissioning period is over, sorry." The problem: you have no objective visibility into what worked and what didn’t. But there’s a fix. IPMVP — the global standard for Measurement and Verification — helps answer one key question: 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘶𝘮𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘪𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘥 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨? If you go one step further and apply this to real-time data with advanced models: you can attribute savings to specific projects and catch failures early. On April 30, we're hosting Steve Kromer P.E. to break down exactly how this works — and what modern M&V looks like in practice. 👉 Register here: https://lnkd.in/eywJMXFx P.S. Steve is one of the original contributors to IPMVP — he’s basically “the godfather” of energy measurement & verification. If you manage energy projects and want tracking that stands up to scrutiny, Steve is the guy to learn from!

Steve Kromer P.E. is the co-author of IPMVP, published 25 years ago through Efficiency Valuation Organization (EVO). A cornerstone of energy management. He's also one of its most vocal critics. IPMVP — the International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol — was built for ESCOs, companies that get paid based on proven savings. The protocol became the global standard for M&V, and it’s now baked into energy efficiency programs worldwide. But Steve has called out IPMVP’s "original sin": The framework has excellent Core Concepts, but no context layer. Which matters because energy savings aren't something you “find.” 𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐞 — and the definition only works when everyone agrees on the methodology. The second problem: monthly meter readings and linear regressions were once state of the art. Now, with real-time data and AI, what-if scenarios can get granular enough to actually hold contractors accountable. Nobody has thought harder about how to fix these problems than Steve. Which is why we’re hosting him live on April 30 to show you how to modernize your M&V without throwing out the framework. You’ll learn how to apply IPMVP the right way so you can: → Standardize M&V across all your sites → Automate your baselines → Walk into every finance or audit conversation with air-tight numbers Join here: https://lnkd.in/eywJMXFx Register now and we'll show you exactly how to stop leaving savings on the table.
