Lessons from Eleven Jobs I’ve worked in more than ten organizations, each one left a mark. The great leaders inspired me. The bad ones shaped me. They showed me exactly who I never want to become. Leadership isn’t just about learning what to do, it’s about unlearning what’s wrong. Unlearning ego. Unlearning fear. Unlearning the comfort of being average. Every boss you meet becomes a mirror. Some reflect the best version of who you could be. Others remind you what not to repeat. If you’re just starting out, don’t chase titles, chase lessons! Every experience, good or bad, is shaping the leader you’re becoming. #Leadership #Growth #Authenticity #Mentorship #CareerAdvice #MohsenSarhan

This week, I’m sharing the new UNICEF report on global stunting prevention, a timely reminder that early childhood nutrition is not just a health priority, but a foundation for a nation’s future. Reflecting on the Egyptian Food Bank work in delivering valuable, balanced and fortified nutrition, in 2025 we managed to achieve the below impact: • Delivered 9 million meals through one of the largest NGO-led school-feeding programs in the region to help improve attendance, focus, and reduce anemia. • Supported 1,000 pregnant & lactating mothers, through fortified nutrition packs and health & nutrition sessions. • Reducing severe stunting among enrolled infants from 14% at birth to 2% by four months. Our work reflects UNICEF’s call to move beyond short-term fixes, investing early, at scale, and across sectors, to safeguard children’s growth, health, and potential. We work to ensure every child’s right to a healthy start! #Humanity #Leadership #EgyptianFoodBank https://lnkd.in/dgNwS93M

I don’t see myself as a CEO! I see myself as someone trying to reform how development is done. For me, everything starts with one question: Does this serve people? Somewhere along the way, development became more about reports and less about reality, more about frameworks and less about families. We forgot that progress isn’t measured in presentations, it’s measured in lives. I believe our work should stay simple, honest, and human. Because if it doesn’t serve people, it serves nothing at all! #Development #Leadership #Purpose #SustainableWork

At the Egyptian Food Bank we believe that food aid should never strip away dignity. That’s why we reimagined the experience of receiving support. Instead of receiving a fixed box, families now walk into bright, fully stocked markets, browse shelves, compare products, and select the items that best suit their taste, their cultural traditions, and their nutritional needs. It is a shift from dependency to agency, from limitation to freedom. Today, thousands of households across Egypt shop in Free Marts just like any other customer. This is how families restore the simple dignity of choice. #EgyptianFoodBank #FreeMart #DignityInAid #FreedomToChoose #FoodWithRespect #EmpowermentThroughChoice #FoodSecurity #HumanityInAction #AidWithDignity #ChoiceMatters

What began years ago as a shared vision to strengthen our food support operations has grown into a partnership we’re truly proud of. Today, we celebrated another beautiful milestone together. ABB joined us at the Egyptian Food Bank for a special signing ceremony — a moment that symbolizes not just a collaboration, but a commitment to creating real impact on the ground. From helping us upgrade essential machinery, to renewing conveyor belts in our factory, to their teams showing up year after year to pack food boxes with heart and dedication — ABB has always stood beside us. And now, they’re supporting the full renovation of our Packing Hall floor, making it a more welcoming, efficient, and joyful space for the volunteers and partners who keep our mission moving. Here’s a recap of this special day and the impact we’re building together! #EgyptianFoodBank #ABB #PartnershipJourney #CommunityImpact #VolunteerSpirit #FoodSecurity #BetterTogether #CSR #SustainableSupport #CorporatePartnership
