How do we help teams embrace AI without losing what makes us human? I recently discussed this with Maddie Diaz Stevens, Head of Product at EF Corporate Learning. AI should never be about replacing meaningful human contribution, its about freeing us from more routine tasks. Every time-saving invention since the wheel has threatened certain roles (I imagine a lot of people were needed to drag stones before that). Unsettling, no doubt, but over time each one freed people up for more creative, higher-value work that only people can do. Adapting to this isn't simple, and it's a conversation we need to keep having, about what the jobs of the future look like, how we help people build the skills for them, and how we set them up to actually thrive once they're there.
