Video vs. PDF. Animations vs. static slides. Clickable modules or regular pages? Those decisions matter far less than: What is the workflow you’re supporting? In an HCP portal, interactive content becomes valuable only when it helps an HCP complete a real task without friction. Discover → Learn → Decide → Act This is a practical sequence of intent that mirrors clinical reality. 1. Discover → Am I in the right place for this question? 2. Learn → Give me the essentials fast (depth on demand). 3. Decide → What applies to this scenario? 4. Act → What is the next step I can take inside the portal? Most portals stop at Learn. They provide good information, and then the journey ends with a download link or “contact your rep.” That’s not interactivity, that’s a dead end. Quick self-audit: if you mapped your best portal journey, where does it break?
