Meet us in Vienna! We are excited to announce that we will be exhibiting at the 21st International Conference on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ICSMGE 2026) in Vienna, Austria, from June 14–19, 2026. 📍 Visit us at Booth #13 during the technical exhibition (June 14–18) at the Austria Center Vienna. We welcome geotechnical engineers, contractors, consultants, and industry professionals to stop by, meet our team, and discover how our software solutions are helping transform the design and analysis of deep excavations, tunneling works, and foundation pile projects. We look forward to connecting with colleagues and partners from around the world and discussing the future of geotechnical engineering. #ICSMGE2026 #GeotechnicalEngineering #DeepExcavation #Tunneling #FoundationEngineering #CivilEngineering #GeotechSoftware

"🏗️ Top-down excavation design is not just about the final stage. When working in alluvial soils with groundwater, the real challenge is understanding how the system behaves throughout construction: 👉 Wall moments evolve with each excavation stage 👉 Slab activation changes load distribution 👉 Eurocode combinations alone may not reveal the full picture In this video, we demonstrate how to model and analyze a top-down excavation system in layered alluvial soils using DeepEX — from automatic model generation with the wizard, to LEM analysis with Eurocode 7 combinations, and finally FEM analysis for a deeper understanding of system behavior. This type of scenario is commonly encountered in projects across Northern Italy, Germany, France, and the Netherlands, where soil variability and groundwater conditions govern design. Understanding the construction sequence — not just the final condition — is key to safer and more efficient excavation design. How do you usually approach staged excavation analysis in your projects?
