Datacenter Forum

Datacenter Forum Copenhagen 2026 brings together the Danish and Nordic datacenter community – and those who want to become part of it – for a full day of insights, debate and networking in Copenhagen. All sessions and networking are in English, and we explicitly welcome organisations who are curious about whether their workloads could fit in Denmark and the other Nordic countries – whether for AI, cloud, colocation, HPC or enterprise IT. If this sounds relevant for you or your colleagues, please like and comment on this post, and don’t forget to register for the event – this year we may reach full capacity earlier than usual. Last week we did a special of our talkshow Datacenter Changemakers at Platform Markets Group’s Platform Global in Antibes, closing the Nordic Investment Forum. Below is a short video from the talk show. Thank you Philip Low and the entire team for a great event. Building AI, renewable energy and heat infrastructure is our generation's moonshot, and this time we already have all the physics we need. What we need now are our engineers, our harshest critics, local, national and European politics - and most of all, European citizens. Because Infrastructure is civilisation. Nobody hands it to you. You demand it. And then you get to build it. --> Next stop is our 14th annual Datacenter Forum Copenhagen event on 24 September (Link to register in comments), smack in the middle of the Nordic Datacenter Week, with among others: - Mette Louise Kaagaard: Netcompany and until recently CEO Microsoft Denmark & Iceland, on what sovereign European compute actually requires, and what it costs - Member of Parliament Anders Storgaard MP — on whether grid-friendliness belongs in law rather than in a voluntary code - Anders Frich Mathiesen on the new Esbjerg Datacenter/Energy-project (worldpremiere) - Merima Dzanic, Strategy director Danish Data Center Industry Hosted, of course, by our hostus mostus Liselotte Lyngsø, futurist. cc Seppo Ihalainen ecogrid.energy ltd
