The political advertising market, especially streaming and digital video altogether, has seen rapid growth over the last decade! Strategy on how to deploy video as dollars has changed dramatically as well. Here is what we see for 2026: - Streaming TV (CTV) is pulling budgets back to the big screen — the highest share since 2016. - Social video is staging a comeback, fueled by more viewable ad formats like Reels and Shorts. - Digital video overall will grow 10% from the 2024 cycle, even as total spend dips 1%. 👉 Dive into the full breakdown of the $11.2B political video ad market here: https://lnkd.in/e7jstWAp And thanks again to Frontline Strategies and Mike Hahn for the great conversation: https://lnkd.in/engx8Hz5

The truth is voters don't care about linear versus streaming. They don't care about media plans and definitions. There is no reward for a media plan that just checks off boxes. It's our job as buyers to leverage the consumption habit data of our audiences to understand where they are reachable. Only then will you have media plans that maximize your budget and drive reach. CA PROP 50 ADVERTISING: Both sides are taking different approaches on linear TV when it comes to the markets they are focusing on. California has 15 media markets and a population of over 39M people which makes it hard for even the deepest pockets to simply buy everything available on TV. It's on the campaigns to figure out where there ad dollars will have the largest impact. 🔴 NO on Prop 50 has focused on 5 markets while waterfalling the priority: SAC > SF > SD > LA > SB 🔵 YES on Prop 50 has a more even approach, delivering a similar frequency (22-25) in the top 4 markets, while also out-delivering NO in Bakersfield, Palm Springs, and Chico-Redding. #PoliticalAdvertising #CTV #LinearTV #Prop50 #CaliforniaPolitics
