👀 Your ads may be working. But is your campaign? The average campaign contains 80 ads. Yet in the average campaign, just five assets receive 88% of media spend. The creative portfolio your team produces can look very different from the one consumers experience. So, what are we missing when we measure ads one at a time? 📊 Out now: our State of Creative Observability 2026 report. We connected 9.2 million ads across 115,990 campaigns, representing $11 billion in media spend, to reveal five areas where creative, audience, and media decisions drift apart. From gaps in placement coverage to content that adds volume without adding variety, the findings show why marketers need to look beyond individual ads. 🔗 Explore the findings and case studies in the full report. If people remember your ad—but not that it was yours—what exactly did your media investment build? 🔎 We analyzed 1.4 million ads from 176 brands, backed by more than $2 billion in media spend. 🚩 We found that 61% of ads used only one or two brand cues, leaving much of their brand-building potential unrealized. Yet ads using four or more distinctive brand assets delivered 28% higher ad recall and a 45% lower cost per completed view. Distinctiveness isn’t built by making the logo bigger. It’s built by treating brand cues as a system. Colors, taglines, packshots, characters and sonic cues become more powerful when they’re used together—and used consistently across every ad, market and channel. Our latest report, “Whose Brand Is It Anyway?”, explores where brands are losing attribution and how to ensure every impression builds memory, recognition and brand equity. 👉 Read the report via the link in the comments.

At today’s scale, every unbranded impression is wasted media—and a missed opportunity to build brand equity. CreativeX analyzed 1.4 million ads and $2 billion in media spend to uncover which distinctive brand assets drive recall, attention and efficiency. Discover what makes an ad perform—and be remembered as yours.

The difference between these ads are +28% ad recall, +88% VTR, and an incredible +45% lower cost per completed view. Why? Distinctiveness. Seems obvious, but 37% of ads use fewer than two distinctive brand assets meaning the millions of dollars and decades of work your team has spent in developing brand equity, not to mention your team’s time and media spend, is going to waste.
