Ever notice how we all love having flowers in the kitchen? Or how our furniture feels more "at home" when it matches the environment? I'm thinking about sandy, clay colors in Arizona or coastal vibes in Florida. There’s something about bringing nature into our surroundings that makes us feel better. A recent study I came across, Vitality and Nature in Psychiatric Spaces, highlights the same idea: when nature is thoughtfully integrated, it can support recovery. But when it feels forced or disconnected, it misses the mark. This got me thinking about the power of good design. It's not just about making a space look nice, it's about creating environments that make people feel supported and at ease. The right design can help foster healing, not just function. Introducing The Summit Series™ A new collection for Behavioral Health environments, thoughtfully designed to bring balance, safety, and harmony to every space. Summit introduces layered heights that bring visual variety and inclusive design to dining rooms, community spaces, and treatment areas. Our new color palette is inspired by nature, reinforcing calm and connection throughout the care journey. Each piece was shaped with input from clinicians and designers who understand how the built environment influences healing and lived experience. Come see The Summit Series for the first time this Sunday at the Healthcare Design Conference + Expo in Kansas City. Healing spaces, designed together. #BehavioralHealthFurniture #HealthcareDesign

Product launches don't start with a polished photo shoot. This is me in the factory with the first few SafeBins off the line....covered in dust, fresh from the mold, and exactly what we hoped for. (And yes, I’m in the awkward stage of growing my hair out.) It takes a few runs to break in a mold and dial in the details. But once it’s right, you know it. The SafeBin might not win awards, but it might save lives. Just last week, a hospital shared that, on two separate occasions in the past six months, firearms had been hidden in the trash. Both were only discovered because another patient found them. That’s the kind of problem we’re designing for. #FamilyOwned #MadeInUSA #PurposeDrivenFurniture
