#NationalGames2025: 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝘂𝗴𝗯𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗞𝗮𝗶 𝗧𝗮𝗸 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 🏉 Rugby Sevens events have long brought together passionate fans, creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere. This year’s National Games Rugby Sevens event will take place at the Kai Tak Stadium from 12 to 14 Nov. Let’s all come out and support the Hong Kong team! During the construction stage of Kai Tak Sports Park, the project adopts new technologies and measures, including the use of Building Information Modelling (BIM), Multi-Trade Integrated Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MiMEP), and prefabricated elements to enhance construction productivity and reduce construction waste. The seating bowl features individual cooling outlets beneath each seat, optimising both spectators’ comfort and energy use. Additionally, the area has incorporated carbon-reduction elements into every stage. For example, over 10% of rooftop areas are equipped with solar panels for hot water and electricity, reducing annual carbon emissions by ~1,000 tonnes, prioritising sustainable development. With a capacity of 50,000 spectators, the Kai Tak Stadium has already played host to various events—have you gotten used to the energetic, full-house crowds yet? Let’s all come and cheer on our Hong Kong athletes! #CIC #ConstructionIndustryCouncil #NationalGames #RugbySevens #KaiTakSportsPark #KaiTakStadium #Sustainability #Green #ZeroCarbon
