A first look inside Curo Workspace HQ: 85 Great Eastern Street. Discover our thoughtfully designed home, a workspace deliberately crafted to feel unmistakably ours. In this short introduction, our Co-Founders, Elliot and Jonathan, and our Creative Director, Kailee, share why we were drawn to this building, how the finished design supports the way we think and collaborate, and how it has been shaped to be more than an office: a creative hub for ideas, partnership, and a place people genuinely look forward to visiting.

The details that make a workspace feel considered aren’t always the ones people consciously notice. Zoe, Designer at Coda Workspace, shares three design choices that can quietly shape how a space looks, feels and functions: working with the existing lines and character of the building, choosing a considered colour palette, and creating a variety of spaces that allow people to work in different ways. Individually they can feel like small decisions, but together they help create a workspace that feels cohesive, intuitive and designed around the people using it.

Working on a Grade II listed building in one of London’s most iconic locations brings a unique set of considerations, and we’re proud to be delivering the CAT A refurbishment of Level Four at 216 Oxford Street. Across 31,000 sq ft, our works combine the restoration and retention of the building’s heritage features with the requirements of a modern CAT A scheme. This includes the reuse of existing steelwork within the reconfigured mezzanine, helping to reduce waste, cost and the logistical challenges of bringing new steel to the fourth floor. We’re incredibly proud to be working on a building with such a remarkable past, and to now be part of where it goes next, with Avison Young │ UK’s continued support throughout the project. The best workplace projects don’t happen by chance. They start with clear planning long before anyone arrives on site. Benny, Head of Pre-Construction at Coda Workspace, shares the three things clients are always glad they planned early: budget, programme and project requirements. Getting these foundations right from the outset helps create a smoother design process, keeps projects on track, and ensures the finished workspace delivers exactly what the business needs.
